Refs might not be too hard on us going forward considering they wernt making judgement calls or anything. They have to call point blank stick to the face right in front of them.

He already gave us what he was paid for though. It was very predictable the last couple of seasons would have been like this. I think we should be fans still. What worries me is he doesn't look like a Spezza that can still contribute into his mid/late 30s at all so does the team even want him at league minimum? It's going to be a very weird situation moving forward unless he elevates his game somehow.

Possible we move to within 7 of Boston with 2 games in hand and we play them twice more. It's not out of the question, they look vulnerable now too.

The biggest difference as I see it is that Brodie looks rejuvenated playing on his strong side. If he and Liljegren (who has really stepped up) can lock down the 2nd pair, while McCabe and Benoit terrorize other teams on the third pair, then we may honestly only have the one hole on the backend to fill at the deadline.
