Marner’s next contract should be in the Timo Meier range. Better yet, find a way for him to waive that stupid NMC and trade him for some defensive help.
I will and so will the 18,000 fans who paid good money to see this mess live.Bingo. When they beat Boston on Thursday, no one will remember this game.
Haven't been impressed, 5-3-1 through October, but team doesn't seem to have any cohesion together right now, play making and passing and defending have been off. Our new additions haven't looked good at all, Domi doesn't look like he can play our style, Bert isn't that type of player either and Reaves has been useless whenever he's on the ice.Pretty meh about the team, it’s make up, and the coaching
LOL this is a joke right? I wouldn't expect you to watch LA games but this is hilarious
Durzi single handedly lost us games against the Oilers in both series
Great offensively, mediocre defensively
a healthy Trevor Moore has 5 goals in 8 games, is red hot, and showing no signs of slowing down. Was fighting injuries all of last season
no I don't i was just being cheeky
Another coach would bench him so he isn't hurting the team. Coach, GM and Shanny are all at fault. This isn't a coaching issue. The additions just haven't worked and thats on the GM for bringing them in. Keefe also has limited options on the PK. Another coach isn't going to make Reaves into an NHL player
I think this sums it up well.
"If our core 4 doesn't dominate and score, our bottom six forwards are NOT GOOD ENOUGH because we lack the cap room to hire better players....Our D-group is not nearly good enough either."
I have low expectations for this season. Life is easier that way.
Keep Marner and trade Klingberg & Bertuzzi for $10M on defense.Marner’s next contract should be in the Timo Meier range. Better yet, find a way for him to waive that stupid NMC and trade him for some defensive help.
I'd be surprised if another coach benched him after the GM gave him a 3 year deal. This team has bigger problems than the coach.Another coach would bench him so he isn't hurting the team.
Klingberg + Bertuzzi might be able to get us a Justin Holl backKeep Marner and trade Klingberg & Bertuzzi for $10M on defense.
If I so much as like a post on another team's board I get banned, this guy's out here full on trolling lolLOL this is a joke right? I wouldn't expect you to watch LA games but this is hilarious

I don't think so. I think you are going to see a pretty impressive game from the Leafs. I think they were probably looking past LA tonight. While that isn't great by any measure, I think you will see a very different Leafs team on Thursday.
Perhaps you've forgotten that they do all kinds of other things as well.Pretty damn sure. It's about as Toronto as it gets to walk into Boston and beat an undefeated (in regulation) team after laying a stinker a couple of nights earlier. It is exactly the kind of thing the Leafs do. This group has a tendency to bounce back really well from poor games.
They haven't really looked very good very often this season so I could see that happening. Play one of their best games of the season, and lose 4-2. seems reasonable. This here.
I have a feeling the Leafs will beat the Bruins. Or at the very least look very good (relative to how they've mostly been this season) in losing.
Honestly cannot believe how useless Bertuzzi has beenKlingberg + Bertuzzi might be able to get us a Justin Holl back
What was the reasons? I only see:remember, O'Reilly who is a heart-and-soul grinder, who would have easily stayed with the team if he liked what he saw here, chose to leave.
That was a huge red flag at the time, but we forgot about that
His reasons for leaving are becoming very clear now
