This era of the Leafs aren't really built to outwork anybody though. The project has always been about outskilling the opposition, overwhelm with talent and just take away their appetite to compete on any given night. That's why decisive wins feel like parties and loses feel like they got an F on an exam.

This will never yield success in the playoffs. If you can't grind and outwork your opponent you are going to lose. In a 7 game series WILL over SKILL

Problem is he cannot anticipate play at all. He never goes to the right spot.

Our lineup is a mess and I don’t think Keefe knows what to do with it.

Also our D group is abysmal.

I can see why Domi has never managed to stay in one place. Unfortunately he lacks that Bunting instinct to be able to take cues from the stars around him and be opportunistic. So far he's played like a defensively unaware Kerfoot.

Wtf are any of the new guys offering this team? They don’t hit, take stupid penalties, and skate like they’re in mud. Bertuzzi, Domi, Reaves offer nothing. If Reaves doesn’t hit early to provide a spark, for the 8th time, wtf is he on this team for?

They’re 5 on 5 scoring is awful. We’re getting no support from the bottom six at all. Send a message, sit one or two of the new guys and bring up Steeves if the cap allows it.

This was the type of game we’ve seen in the playoffs too much. Dominated by bigger, faster, hungrier teams.

I wouldn’t expect any changes after tonight. They’ll get a pass due to the road trip. I expect a much better showing on Thursday
