I think deep down if this happens to the Leafs, Dubas would have step up and put a stop to it instead of trying to cover it up.
He might not be great at handing out contracts or stuff but he is someone who actually have morals and will do the right thing.

Just like we couldn’t imagine them losing 3 in a row to the Habs, or to not come out with guns ablazing against the short handed Penguins, especially after the San Jose loss. I think I’m seeing a pattern with this team.

As Hawk fan he was always mediocre to me but our coach would play him in top 9 routinely despite fact he was blackhole offensively

I see he has 2nd highest - on your team (I know +/- is not best way to judge player) and is again averaging more what to me is significantly too high of TOI nightly

I see he has 2nd highest - on your team (I know +/- is not best way to judge player) and is again averaging more what to me is significantly too high of TOI nightly

He's been solid. A pretty capable 3rd line center for an affordable cap hit. Him and his line essentially start almost every defensive zone faceoffs that they can and typically end in the offensive zone a lot.

He is definitely not going to score very much but he works for it. He's been a little unlucky with his chances since pre-season.

We have been missing a good defensive minded centre/shutdown centre since we traded kadri. I like him and not expecting much offensively

Exactly this. I don't mind losing, the important thing is that we keep learning and understand that it's a process. If we lose but learn something, and better understand how to compete against terrible teams in the future, well what more could I possible ask for?

I think if we were rolling into tonight having won 2 or more in a row it would be a guaranteed clunker from us, but under the circumstances we should be firing hot.

The team is so jumpy right now though, that anything could happen.

At this point I'm tuning in as much for the human drama as for the hockey.

I feel like the psychological drama at play is way more interesting these days than the product on the ice. It’s like the 2015-16 team in terms of talent level and the 2014-15 team in terms of drama.
