Bruins get a good test against the best team in the league in the 1st place Panthers to start the year, and Leafs get to test themselves against the worst and 32nd.

I figure the Hawks are even more desperate than the Leafs right now. I am thinking it's more likely the Leafs hang a real beating on them. The PR storm around the club doesnt involve much of the current roster but it's still going to have a downforce on moral.

Mitch gets his first.

If the first 7 games on this season were a playoff series the Leafs would already be done by winning only 2 of the 7 games.

Florida sits atop the NHL standings with 6-0-0 record for 12 points and Chicago sits at the bottom 0-5-1 for 1 point.

Don't you kind of wish our Leafs were playing well and were facing off against Florida today, and battling for top spot as opposed to be battling to stay out of the basement?

Sandin has definitely struggled at times (that's essentially been the story of the blueline as a whole). I can't see a demotion happening though since he's been the #5 and a lineup mainstay to this point.

When is Keefe gonna break up Muzzin and Holl and put Liljegren in there. He should be rolling these D pairings:

Rielly Brodie
Muzzin Liljegren
Sandin Holl
Dermott

I expect a loss, prove us wrong.

There's only so much you can say.

As long as they continue to lose, there are no words that can make it right. They might as well say as little as possible, or nothing at all.

I still don't think they've hit bottom. I could well imagine the Leafs getting blown out by Chicago tonight.

It doesn't matter who they play right now -- they are their own worst enemies. Maybe, except for the referees.

Is he out of his mind? The product on the ice, seriously?!? Their current product is utter garbage - regardless whether they believe in themselves or not. It's just sometimes better not to speak at all, rather than come out as delusional.

He literally said just a couple sentences before it hasn't been good. He's saying they have to be better and what matters is how they play on the ice, not the noise from the fans and media.

Breaaaathe.

Oh well, thanks .. guess this makes sense. But the fans should always matter. In reality I contribute to the Leafs with my opinion and buying stuff from the store. I am doing my job as a fan and they should try to do their job. :)

the leafs look like a slow team.
goaltending will be an issue i believe.
muzzin has lost a step on D
Ritchie, simmonds, amadio, not the quickest either

If they actually came out and said they understand the fans frustrations, that would go farther than what they keep repeating about not caring what the fans think or feel (I.e. noise as they call it). I’m not sure if they have ever done that.
