Lafferty has been ok but I hope he can bring a little more to the table than basically being Blackwell 2.0. He's definitely not been as impactful as Acciari.
Huh? I think he's looked like a great piece to round out that line. He's fast, plays pretty fearless and he actually has some decent hands. I feel like he's been noticeable in a good way thus far. :dunno:At the end of the day the guy's an energy fourth liner, as long as he tilts the ice for us and does well on the PK he's done his job.

I think it’s possible Lafferty may need to play more to be fully effective. Just needs time I think

The way some people are acting over Sid is wild. If you get that worked up over a social media account trying to get likes you should get off of social media and the forum. Getting that worked up over nothing that affects your life is crazy.
He's obviously looking for a reaction, is what he said incorrect?

It’s not necessarily incorrect what he said, but it’s also written in a way that is meant to make it sound the most negative possible
That's how you get attention, seems to work for him. Perhaps reply to him with a positive spin on it?

I don't know about great. Like I said, he's been alright but I think his effectiveness hasn't been really all that impressive. Just a solid depth player similar to what Blackwell provided. I hope we see a little more energy and more plays that stand out. It's only been 2 games so there's lot's of time. I'm not worried, I just hope he shows more.

Very possible. I think his minutes going from Chicago to Toronto might be an adjustment.

Nothing better than turn back the clock night in Vancouver. Blood pressures are spiking on the west coast. GLG

T.O.
He's infamous for the hot takes, you gotta hand it to him he really gets people riled up.
Sid Seixeiro is a p***y, always has been.

I'll never forget when he went on a disgraceful rant live on the air about Dion Phaneuf, and Phaneuf called the show to confront him. Seixeiro turtled like the bitch that he is.

He is certainly easy to dislike. It's amazing the success he's had being so dislikable.

game for me is more about evaluating murray then the result. It would be nice to win, but having him start his return with a good start is big

Lafferty has been fine. Can't fault the new guys too much with the schedule they have (plus travel) with a new team and system.

Give these guys time to adjust and gel, DUBAS targets smart player that adjust to new systems quickly.. they just need more practice and home games together. Not worried.. him and McCabe have impressed me so far.

Love what schenn brings and he always will need time to adjust to new systems.

I do think we need to give guys a chance like you said no practice, new team, etc. But the guy who said another Blackwell is spot on. Supposed to be physical but pretty meh.

If he doesn't step it up honestly some of the Marlies looked better like McMann IMO

Looking for the big boy to start ramping it up and become the dominating force he can be.

Canucks aren't push overs by any means and can't be taken lightly. Leafs have to own the middle of the ice and keep the crease tidy, Dirty Murr can handle anything from the outside.

It'd be nice to see the floodgates open for Kerf tonight on his home turf.
