Anyone a fan of HIMYM? I watched it during my first couple of years in university but then just gave up on it...is it worth sticking through to the end?

Yeah, first 6 seasons are really good. Even 7th season was ok. Did not like the ending, but still quite funny show. Not as good as Friends though.

I think I'm on my third or fourth time watching it through now, in large parts at least. It is such a rewatchable show

Ya the ending was awful. Plus, it bothered me that Bob Saget narrated right until the end as 'adult' Ted's voice and then they cut back to 'normal ted' Ted to finish the show. Why is Bob Saget speaking as the future voice of a character that was already an adult? Why bother paying Bob Saget at all?

I don't think it was that awful. It was a let down for sure, but it wasn't awful. A show that long revolving around a mother that was unknown until the final season was never going to have all the fans happy.

Though now that you've mentioned the Bob Saget voice thing...that's going to bug me. I never noticed that before.

I guess it's different in football i mean players get suspended all the time.

Ya it's a lot different. A 4 game suspension in the NFL is 25% of the season but less than 5% in the NHL.
Not to mention there's no concrete evidence.

Edit: he redid his contract so he's only getting one million dollars this year so he'd only lose about 250k

Its a game called odds. You challenge someone to odds (I know they aren't really odds), say what the loser has to do, pick a number between 1 and whatever (20 in my case), and then you both count down from 3 and then say your number. If its the same you have to do it. Goes back at the other person too so my buddy also had to take the bet as well.

I lost on 5. Went back at him and he was clear.

Its a fun drinking game but instead we were taking a study break and now I get to look like an idiot at my exam
