Gio and Brodie played under 20 minutes today too, which is good.

Able to give both of them a break, and I would continue using Timmins on the PP to give Gio some rest. He is nothing special on the PP and it is a way to get Timmins more minutes without taking a risk.

The revenge tour continues. You're next Anaheim

Malgin was pretty effective on the 2nd line.

Timmins makes optimal decision with the puck.

ZAR hit and fight really woke up the Leafs.

For those that wish Engvall traded, we'll see an Engvall-less team on Saturday.

Wouldn't mind seeing either joey anderson, steeves, or Clifford up next game. Since it is against the flames, a goon line would probably make sense.

When was the last time we had b2b Shutouts. Hopefully the goalies and D can keep this up, and the offensive firepower coming into form is a blessing. Lets keep this momentum.

For me, toughness has less to do with reacting to hits, but more proactive with them. Thanks to the instigator, it pays more to initiate contact (at the right time). ZAR's hit really tilted them and allowed us to pop off.
It was a great hit and nice to see a fight, but we were dominating to that point and it continued after. Felt more like the dam just broke than the fight inspiring anything
