Ive explained this numerous times. He and Matthews should easily be 120+ point players, not 100. I also showed how Matthews paced 120+ without Marner last year. 100 point seasons is not impressive for two 11+ million dollar players on a line, while others are scoring 140+. Panarin put up 120 while his next best linemate had 77.Get 100 points per season
Well if you are correct, we should be in for a great season, Domi in for a huge improvement.Ive explained this numerous times. He and Matthews should easily be 120+ point players, not 100. Im of the opinion that its crazy that Marners office literally is 50' from the net. Its where he seems to want to be. Is this not unusual?
At the beginning of the year, he looked like he was gonna play more physical and go to the net more but hes back to perimeter Marner.
Nylander too, but at least we are seeing more dedication to backchecking and also Nylander has played a significant chunk of mins without Matthews or Tavares.

Hopefully he will be playing with Mathews and racking up those give me assistsNot following
You're saying Domi will pick up the gimme points?Hopefully he will be playing with Mathews and racking up those give me assists
No, I’m saying if you are correct in that Mathews plays better with Domi. The 2 of them are going to light it up. That is if they play together. You're saying Domi will pick up the gimme points?
Best player on the team through 22. Hes always in the dirty areas or the ice.
Meanwhile Marner picked up two more assists from 50 feet away from the net.
literally the same argument thats been said about playoff Marner for years. He is too far from the net.
no I think he put the puck toward the net and it resulted in a goal. I'm truly sorry you had to witness itDo you think the Tavares goal was a pass? You think his intention was to throw a weak wrister that hit Tavares square in the stomach. That goal is all Tavares, creating something out of nothing. Same with Knies tip. If Knies isnt there, in the dirty area, easy save by todays goalies (though not unrelated to Marner).
Watching the Oilers highlights and in just one play Mcdavid sets up a slot shot that doesnt go in, he gets the rebound, holds off a defender with one arm while skating around the net and passes the puck to his teammate standing in the blue paint for a tap in goal. The entire play, Mcdavid operates in territory Marner never goes.
Even the Broadcast team made note of how often Marner is standing on the blueline in the offensive zone.
Im just perplexed, Marner is on the blueline more than our defenders.
yes it is the same argument you make after every multi-point game, with reference to this same articleliterally the same argument thats been said about playoff Marner for years. He is too far from the net.
in this still every forward is within a couple feet of each other. why is every forward that far from the net? what are they even thinking? you can't score from there, or even make plays that result in goalsAssist #1:

You keep referencing Matthews pacing 120 points without Marner last year. Marner also paced 137 points (and 64 goals) with Matthews out of the lineup this year. Marner must have one hell of a shot to pace 64 goals from "playing 50 feet from the net".Well if you are correct, we should be in for a great season, Domi in for a huge improvement.
‘I keep referencing” show me once..You keep referencing Matthews pacing 120 points without Marner last year. Marner also paced 137 points (and 64 goals) with Matthews out of the lineup this year. Marner must have one hell of a shot to pace 64 goals from "playing 50 feet from the net".
100% now it’s the Chiefs turn.
I miss hating the Pats, Chiefs have replaced them. So easy to dislike.
