Like him or not, this is great.
Steve is awesome
Vasi saved a few breakaways as well.
The air is cleaner too.
Even my wife's butt is smaller
Baby steps man, one at a time. First, just one freaking more. Get this 2 ton gorilla off their backs.uh, no, sorry 13 more
Diving always drives me nuts even when Leafs do it.I could be wrong on this stat but I think they said Toronto 5 on 5 is outscoring Tampa 9 -2? If you were getting outscored that badly even strength wouldn't you dive? I don't like it either but there is method in their madness.
Absolute scenes when Willy scored. Nothing like I've ever seen beforeI'm fortunate to have gone to many Leafs games over the last several years, including quite a few playoff games.
I don't ever remember that building being that electric & epic as it was last night. The pure amount of bedlam that ensued after Nylander's goal was unlike anything I've ever experienced.
6:00.
"Reilly...knocked down by Colton couldn't get to the puck first"
If the game were called as it was in the first period...that 3rd goal by Tampa shouldn't have counted.

He litterally body checks Rielly knocking him down. Reilly. Who didn't have the puck. And was not skating INTO Colton.
That's a f***ing missed call that led to the tying goal.
Not so sure about that it really looked like it hit his skate before it hit the Tampa player.so, what's the statute of limitations on changing the official scorer of a goal? Because JT did not touch that one.
Yes. Really annoying. He’s got a voice for newspaper. And the analyst sounded horrible because he sat too close to the microphone.Great win for the Leafs,my only complaint is I have to listen to Butchergrass call the game on ESPN! Why can’t they just use the Canadian feed. Insufferable!!!!
Diving always drives me nuts even when Leafs do it.
That's actually a pretty impressive stat especially considering how much time they've spent in the box.
Sorry bro but you missed possibly the best playoff game since 2004. The intensity was unbelievable.
Tampa's game 4 blowout did kind of inflate the 5 on 5 scoring. For a majority of the series the Leafs have been the noticeably better 5v5 team. When a team dives that much, it tells you where their mindset is, they don't think they can beat the Leafs 5 on 5.
I just checked and I must have dreamed it, it's 9 GA - 9 GF 5 on 5. TB has 5 goals for 5 on 4 and we have 3, 5 on 4.
The Vasi save call is the best thing I’ve ever heard in a Leaf game.
It was a pretty amazing play too.
Curious. After Nylander scored, Kampf pulled back on joining celly. Is it because he was just coming out of the box?The Vasi save call is the best thing I’ve ever heard in a Leaf game.
It was a pretty amazing play too.
I usually dump on Holl, but that was a great game for him, especially last 90 seconds.
They pulled me back in. I believe.
If the Leafs close out the series by defeating the back-to-back champions in their building especially against a Vasi that’s coming off a playoff loss, I think they are going all the way.
This year feels different.
I used to like MaroonI think we need Simmonds in tomorrow night, give him limited ice time but we need him on the bench. Maroon was skating around even in warm up like he owned the arena last night. It’s going to be a chippy game with it being an elimination game plus in Tampas barn we will need some toughness out there
Agreed, Holl was fantastic. We are all jackasses for giving him that much heat, he made a phenomenal play up the boards on the Nylander goal. Also broke up quite a few zone entries.I usually dump on Holl, but that was a great game for him, especially last 90 seconds.
Campbell was the MVP, if he doesn't hold the fort after the early 2 goals that game is over.Leafs lunch reminded me, shout out to Campbell's save on Paul's breakaway at 2-1.
