He got like 35 seconds in the last 10 minutes but that's pretty deserved all things considered. Was ADA benched after the giveaway? Missed the first half of the game

He isn’t particularly consistent but he has a strong upside. And he gets up for the bigger games. If he can master the consistency part he has a future as a starter.
Yup. Hank is all class.
For ****s and giggles... Just using Jan and Feb splits... What would that production look like if it was sustained for 82 games?

funny thing is, over the same time span, Kreider's numbers look average and that's being generous

Carolina played better defense. Rangers has no room to roam. Toronto plays solid defense, for sure. But they opened up the game a few times and it backfired. Why couldn't we do this Friday night?
Don’t think so. He did take a stick to the face (unpenalized, for some reason). Was ADA benched after the giveaway? Missed the first half of the game
Oh yeah. And it was a phantom penalty. But the refs were wearing Leafs colored glasses.I'm not sure how much he played afterwards but he definitely played. He took a tripping penalty later on. And he played after that, as well. Again, not sure how much.
I might prefer keeping Zucc at half the price. It's cool just slot Panarin in for Zucc.

Baseball is far and away #1. New York City is the mecca of baseball. Then throwball. Then basketball. Hockey is definitely 4th.Curious question, I know nothing when it comes to New York in terms of popularity, but honestly how popular are the Rangers? I get it that Yankees are by far the most popular team in the area? But what's after that? Probably basketball and throwball since those sports more popular hockey. However, is it a bandwagon city or do certain teams reign supreme just because of "history"? If so, I get it that Rangers might be the lowest team of the major four sports, but does it have a very dedicated cult following perhaps? Anything else I should know?
Interesting, thanks for the response. Would Rangers being close to the Knicks be due to the ineptitude of the Knicks? I get it that they are by far one of the worst teams in a sport where only 6 are legitimate contenders, so that makes the people tune out even more? Also are the Mets and all their shortcomings still more popular than the Knicks, Rangers, and even lets say Jets?Baseball is far and away #1. New York City is the mecca of baseball. Then throwball. That said, most New York sports fans follow the Rangers. Hockey either has a religious following or it's not very popular at all. New York has this weird middle ground where hockey is just a normal part of the sports culture.
I also think the Rangers are closer to the Knicks than you would think, just from my observations.
They probably think Pionk is good, but yeah, they would have a casual understanding of the Rangers. The Rangers do have a casual following [as well as a hardcore one] which I find rather strange for hockey.Interesting, thanks for the response. So the bandwagoners and sports media only follow the Yankees, however if you were to talk to a normal sports fan he would know what the deal is with the Rangers? I asked because I always thought of it as weird where the Rangers were, they seem like that distant cousin nobody see's, but everyone loves when they roll in for Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's way different in Colorado, it is either Broncos everyday for the reason they suck or they're good. Rockies probably get the second most hype, but I contribute that more towards no other sport is being played around their season. However, the entire town is bandwagoner 101 for second place after the Crapos.
Happy Birthday Georgi!
The problem with some here with the "deserving to win/lose" nonsense is that if they truly believe the Rangers "deserved" to lose last night, they would have to believe that the Rangers "deserved" to beat the Kings, and probably "deserved" a better fate against the Hurricanes.
The "deserving" will usually work itself out over the course of the season. They'll win a few they shouldn't, and lose a few they shouldn't.
Taking the whole season so far into consideration, if the "deserving" worked out the exact way in each and every game, the Rangers would probably be 3-4 points out of the playoffs. Does that mean they should go into Dark Ages mode and BUY, BUY, BUY at the deadline? No, in no way should they do that. Just saying that it seems like some want this mediocre team to be worse than they really are, and they just don't see that the 2018-19 New York Rangers are NOT a bottom 5, or maybe even a bottom 10 team, as currently iced.
In their defense, I thought it was a penalty. I never saw the replay, however, so I take everyone at their word that it did suck.Oh yeah. And it was a phantom penalty. But the refs were wearing Leafs colored glasses.
He had a powerful game. Good on him. Drive the value up.Surprised not more votes for Hayes... most of the game he was toying w the Leafs.
