He got like 35 seconds in the last 10 minutes but that's pretty deserved all things considered.

He isn’t particularly consistent but he has a strong upside. And he gets up for the bigger games. If he can master the consistency part he has a future as a starter.

I have to disagree - In the games he gave up 5-6-7, it could have been 10.

Don't think the consistency theme is fair - yet. And as for the 'bigger games', I think he's one of the few that always plays it like a playoff game. His demeanor shows it.

Carolina played better defense. Rangers has no room to roam. Toronto plays solid defense, for sure. But they opened up the game a few times and it backfired.

Don’t think so. He did take a stick to the face (unpenalized, for some reason).

I'm not sure how much he played afterwards but he definitely played. He took a tripping penalty later on. And he played after that, as well. Again, not sure how much.

Oh yeah. And it was a phantom penalty. But the refs were wearing Leafs colored glasses.

Curious question, I know nothing when it comes to New York in terms of popularity, but honestly how popular are the Rangers? I get it that Yankees are by far the most popular team in the area? But what's after that? Probably basketball and throwball since those sports more popular hockey. However, is it a bandwagon city or do certain teams reign supreme just because of "history"? If so, I get it that Rangers might be the lowest team of the major four sports, but does it have a very dedicated cult following perhaps? Anything else I should know?

I get it that they are by far one of the worst teams in a sport where only 6 are legitimate contenders, so that makes the people tune out even more? Also are the Mets and all their shortcomings still more popular than the Knicks, Rangers, and even lets say Jets?

They probably think Pionk is good, but yeah, they would have a casual understanding of the Rangers. The Rangers do have a casual following [as well as a hardcore one] which I find rather strange for hockey.

I think the Knicks might be further ahead if they weren't a clown fiesta, yeah.

I voted on Vesey since he usually get mentioned while being quiet, but he had a beautiful goal a laser into the net so that alone was worth my vote this wonderful morning. And it`s soon spring where I l ive 3 degrees and the snow is melting indeed so it`s time of the year and closer to TDL.

4th Mika, 5th Kreider. 6th McQuaid, and 7th Hayes who is playing for a new contract and doing very well.

It sums up those players who have or starting to have a good season under coach Quinn with the players I mentioned and some very close to 1 point per game (PPG) stats which is exciting.

About Jack Hughes it`s merely a distant dream now even though if we sell off at TDL - our chances don`t increase to get him while we get closer to a Wildcard spot and playoffs.

The "deserving" will usually work itself out over the course of the season. They'll win a few they shouldn't, and lose a few they shouldn't.

Taking the whole season so far into consideration, if the "deserving" worked out the exact way in each and every game, the Rangers would probably be 3-4 points out of the playoffs. Does that mean they should go into Dark Ages mode and BUY, BUY, BUY at the deadline? No, in no way should they do that. Just saying that it seems like some want this mediocre team to be worse than they really are, and they just don't see that the 2018-19 New York Rangers are NOT a bottom 5, or maybe even a bottom 10 team, as currently iced.

When he ragged that puck for like :30 secs on the PK... went to his backhand surely he would put it off the glass and HOPEFULLY out of the zone and then he reversed and went back behind the net, everyone in the arena was in shock... including all 5 Leaf players trying to catch him.
