It was especially with the Panthers losing but NJ found a way to finally win and safe to say chicago (win) and St louis (win) will be finishing ahead of us. Detroit is a lost cause but there has to be a way NJ doesn't get bottom 3
 
Zucc gets 2 assists, McQuaid gets a goal looking useful, Hayes gets a goal...

Assets gaining value before the deadline. If we're going to win, this is the way and the time to do it.

Kind of random question, but did we work out a deal with NBC where we only get Kenny and never Doc?
 
Kreider and Zibanejad can carry lines on their own, or we can put them together and match them hard.

Gives us options.

It's more that I don't like the whole concept of who "deserves" to win, and don't usually even mention it. It's a sporting event, and at the end of the day who "deserved" what matters for nothing.

I mean, why is it that we didn't deserve it? Why isn't it, "Toronto created an enormous amount of chances but could only pop one past the backup, they absolutely deserved to lose the game!" Did Toronto play well, or did they play poorly? I think you can look at it either way. Same from our side.

So in the end, forget all the subjectivity and "deserving" shit. We played 60 and for various reasons came out a 4-1 winner. I don't know why anything
more needs to be said.

This is the crux of the matter. We need guys like those 3 to play well to keep relevant and maybe get the serious attention of as many gm's as possible. On the other hand, the better they play and put up points the more likely we accrue points which will hurt us come game 82 standings.
 
Georgiev probably lost 15 lbs. in this one but his save % might have gone up 15 points. Fantastic outing. To me he's a real deal NHL goalie.

Kreider great game. Vesey finally potted a goal and nice one by McQuaid too.

I like it....even if we're probably better off losing, you know a bunch of Leafs fans showed up tonight to stir some shit up and now they'll go home disappointed.

They gave up almost 60 shots...

I mean I guess the over arching point that you're making is true, but these types of wins annoy the shit out of me.

Damn The Avs have 11 loser points...They could be in the running for Hughes and Kakko had it not been for the hot start lol. People think we have a lot at 8? I still expect them to finish ahead of us tho

Yeah pretty happy he won't be traded. Kid does look like a legit NHL goalie. How good he will be is anyone's guess but way too early to give up on him especially if Shesty doesn't come over.
