To me, he has very good skating, and elite level puck handling skills, but he ends up accomplishing very little with it. All show, no go, so to speak.
The skills are apparent. I don't think it's a good 3rd or 4th line fit, and Ho-Sang would just be more of the same in the top 6. We already have our core 4 paired up, they just need compliment players... Ho-Sang isn't a compliment player imo

Can Abruzzese play wing. 2LW holding auditions soon.

He is a natural center but he has mostly played wing in the NCAA. I think it is a lot more likely that he ends up on the wing than at center in the NHL, but I guess it depends. Worst case, he has a lot of similarities to Kerfoot and should be able to seamlessly fill the role Kerfoot filled (and maybe get more PP time than Kerfoot received here).

I imagine the Leafs will try to develop him and Holmberg at center (Holmberg plays C full time in the SHL now), see if they can stick there as smaller guys (including their FO ability, which is not something that Holmberg excels in), and go from there.

Abruzzese 5'10" 174 lbs? According to the Harvard website, EP has him lighter. Why does he seem to be bigger than that on the ice?

Knies is as good as advertised in college , but his skating is way better then what draft reports had. He is very aggressive on the ice with and without the puck. I really like how fearless he is going in a straight line, and obviously has really good skill to go along with it.

Abruzzese is much better than originially thought. He looks bigger than what websites have him, and isn't a perimeter player. Quite the opposite actually. He's been really good. The red flags were there with the weak conference and skating not being dynamic as you want, but it's clear the guy is just good. I think his skating is fine actually.

Ho Sang with a breakaway, not completely clear, had a man on his back... nice dash of speed, but didn't finish.

Staal/McTavish/McBain combine for a goal... nice play on all three. Hopefully they start to heat up, Canada is going to need it. I had stated earlier that there hadn't been much chemistry between them previously, but they've started to look better today... finally got the result.

Five Leaf properties have 10pts in 15gms.
JHS with 3/4. Meyers with 4/3. McBain 2/4.

Abruzzese is a beast, and has fan favourite written all over him IMHO.

Turning 23 years old, so far what I've seen, he can play in the NHL.
So, who’s playing which wing?
Nick , I think eh?
Big boost for him if he can play all three forward spots.

Would love for McBain to be a Property of the Leafs, but he isn’t.
