I'm excited. Been a while since we got to scout the top 10 section of the draft

I think we should learn by now that Leafs needs players to show up in the playoffs instead of just top end talents. We suck again.
Let's tear it down maybe we'll get lucky and win another lottery.
And play who in his place?I think they might be OK with that. Most of them don't look like they want to be on the ice right now anyways.
You do know that every team has a "data" department right?I find it absolutely HILARIOUS
that dubas spent so much of MLSE money not only on inflated salaries but on the stupid data bullshit seriously LOL![]()
Dubas is reverse Rumpelstilsken. It was soooooo obvious. FFS. Wasting Matthews is the worst I've had to witness as a Leafs fan. I wish we could go back in time to losing to the Caps 1st roundHaven't watched a game this season so can't comment on this game specifically beside the box score... But I'm fully on board with the majority of people here saying Marner and Dubas need to go. And that's just a start.
The dark days of the 2000s were easier to stomach than wasting a talent like Matthews.
One goal deflected off Muzzin's skate, one goal deflected off Liljegren's skate, one goal deflected of a Pittsburgh player's upper body, one awful wraparound goal where Campbell got lazy, and one good goal.
pull the trigger on both @ the same time I sayShould they fire Dubas first? Or Keefe?
let me preface this by saying that i am not a tavares hater but it seems that since JT joined the Leafs this team forgot to start on time
or may be since dubas became the GM
or
both?

Totally agree. Dubas is a naive kid - you gotta be cold and factual to win in business. He foolishly wears the I'm-your-parent-and-your-best-friend-too hat. Today's entitled players see that approach as a weakness to be exploited, not a positive approach to build success on.
And Shanahan is a know-nothing fraud, he should have seen this in a GM who is simply not worldly enough.
Dubas created this mess with poor cap allocation and has been forced to continually change the support pieces, cannot afford top goal tending and he paid this dysfunctional core and after continuing failure has refused to do anything about it.Seriously though why do people keep hanging the team performing badly on the management when its up to the players to get the job done on the ice? Dubas has done almost everything possible to address every weakness in the lineup and at what point do you say its the players not performing rather than it being all Dubas' fault?
You can keep changing out players continuously, but at some point players have to show up on the ice and play hard and play well. Dubas can only do so much.
The thing I'm noticing there is Muzzin no longer skates much faster than Holl. He's really slowed down this year and that's a disaster since that pairing only worked due to Muzzin being at his best. The Justin Holl shittiness really is infectious. Muzzin needs to be put in quarantine.
What are you talking about? I am saying this game, they don't want to play. And who cares who you put on the 1st/2nd/3rd line in a 5-1 game that is over? LOLAnd play who in his place?
We have 0 depth
The way they are playing now, they will lose the game in the 1st period on Monday and give more time for Dubas to prepare his post game press conf speech.
There are no players anywhere. None. And play who in his place?
We have 0 depth
I infected my younger brother and plan to do to any future sons/daughterswhy did I have to be born into a family of leaf fans? seriously use protection kids
Now that the game is lost, Matthews, Tavares, and Marner will all get 3 points. And then the narrative by the usual suspects will be that they're doing well.
Getting the puck on net with traffic in front is always a good play. I'm not taking anything away from Pittsburgh. They have clearly been the better team.Isn't that the way, though? Leafs give up "bad luck" goals and get goalied.
At some point, you just got to accept the Leafs just don't have that "it" thing, and this is a pattern, not "luck".
I don't even know how you fix this team
So many bad contracts. Even Ritchie at whatever he's making is overpaid
Kerfoot, overpaid
Muzzin overpaid
Soup is overhype and overrated. I get a lot of James Reimer vibes from him. Great games then only to lay eggs when games matter. So inconsistent
Mrazek, same
That game is circled on the calender. No F*ING way that happens. There MUST be a response after this joke.
Quote this message. We win Monday. We have too. I'm out for a month focusing on school if we lose. I will not accept a loss.
