Oh right, Nylander has been f***ing awesome this year, not that he ever wasn't, but I almost regret thinking he's our trade chip at some point (he could still be a great trade chip, but I'd rather keep him)

I love imagining how we don't have to play the f***ing Bruins.

Was getting so sick of how they get to play their brand of hockey, but another team brings the same style against them and it's penalty after penalty.

I'm scarred by the Bruins, gotta admit it. They're really good, and I'm very relieved that they are out of our division this year. Might sound cowardly but I don't care, was getting tired of it.
 
I can’t remember the last time I was not nervous about this team being up 3 goals in the 3rd period. What a feeling. I could get used to this

The habs are a very good team as well. But yes, we won a game that we should have won. And we dominated the game, as we should have. We were rested, they were not. The boys played exactly how they should have played, and deserve credit and praise

Yeah I left the game thinking 1) Wow Vancouver really sucks and 2) I'm not sure the Habs are as good as we think since they've played these guys FIVE times already.

And for me that was a concern going into the game. The Leafs would come out flat and unprepared, the Canucks would be pissed off they just lost a bunch of game and looking to right the ship.

Can't wait for Saturday!!!

With all due respect, Quinn Hughes is an absolute stud. I live in Vancouver and watch a lot of his games. He was not good tonight, but aside from hoglander nobody on the Canucks was good. But Quinn will be a superstar in this league for a very long time. He is far more than just your prototypical offensive defenseman. Very strong positionally. Just a rough game all around

Ya totally. The stage was totally set for a vintage leaf let down. But they came through in the exact capacity that they should have, and deserve a huge pat on the back. Big confidence booster going into the Next 2 games

..and some of the responses from Habs fans were... at least we didn't lose to Ottawa.... Karma my friends, Karma...

There is nothing Vancouver fans love more than losing to Toronto. Huge props to Petan. Like I said in the game day thread, I have watched him closely over the years. He is a much better player then many fans give him credit for. He won’t score a lot but he can make plays. He finds ways to keep possession. Hope they give him a legit chance.
 
I actually feel bad for the Canucks. Their schedule has been horrendous. If that was us I would be very upset.

Bought Babsocks for my wife years ago when they came out. I think of it as her stomping on his face whenever she wears them.
