The secondary scoring has been key lately considering JT and Nylander have been quiet

Nice to see the Habs starting to come back to earth. 4th in the division now.

But SC contenders a week or so ago

We have a bit more talent than the Habs and when we match their work ethic it shows.
I could use less of that excitement.

I must admit I wasn't thrilled about it but they did sort themselves out in game which is a nice positive

I don't get it. He plays a fairly solid first five minutes, starts to float and then proceeds to skate around watching JT and Kerf battle for pucks like a spectator. He can do so much more...

The East division is the strongest, but ours is probably tied with the Central for second. The top West teams should be the most concerned.

TOR is miles ahead in the North while 5 other teams will fight over three playoff spots. Let s face it CGY is Gaudreau, aging Giordano, Markstrom. VAN has been bad but reversal to the mean expected, WPG has a good top 6 but that s all, EDM is based on two players, MTL has no elite players and think they can win with two 20 yr old projected Top 6 yet not elite centers and Chiarot top LHD (Habs fan here)

I like what TOR has been doing this offseason but let us see what happens in the playoffs. There is 99 per cent chances the leafs are representing Canada in the big four. I just hope for them Marner or Matthews don t get injured !

Kerfoot has played well lately.

Feels like he should get some credit considering he gets roasted almost as much as anyone on here.

He's better on the wing. Don't like him at center.

It sucks that they don’t face them again until April.

I think its good. habs will give their fans some hope of making the playoffs and then in april we crush that hope

Teams give up 4 plus breakaways a game?
2 lasers got by him. "unstoppable shots"
Goalie did his job. Teams, good teams should not be giving up that many breakaways as often as it happens here. 1 or 2 maybe

The shots were "unstoppable" because Andersen was backed up against the crossbar.

PSA: the playoff format will see the Leafs play divisional opponents in the first two rounds. Big opportunity for them to get the monkey off of their back and get into the Conference Final if they can keep this level of play up..

A well rested team against a Leafs team who played five in eight.

Matthews rolling along at a Gretzky-like pace. Andersen kept them in it early. D played with purpose.

the number of games is similar but gretz kept mixing in those 3; 4 and 5 goal games

The good thing is when Nylander gets benched, he usually bounces back.

He shouldn't have to get benched to be motivated. He plays on the 1st place team in the NHL, beside a star player. What does he have to cry about?

The second one he was in the blue ice but the first one he was outside the crease, but you keep observing whatever it is you're observing
