I claim to never go to another team's board, why bother. Anyway I did, I read the first few pages of their PGT. I have to admit I was surprised at the number of posts that just flat out stated we are better than them.
I never post on another team’s board, but I do like reading them. It’s kinda funny to step back and realize every fanbase is as hyperbolic as ours lol

Im watching the pregame, I didn't realize Montreal only has 2 goals from their 4 centers this year. Surprises me they won any games.

Edit to add: Thats not correct, I checked nhl.com their centers have 18 goals

Good point. If I was the Leafs I wouldn't want to face the Habs in the playoffs. You have a better team but we have a way of hanging around and being a nuisance at times..

It'd be great for the rivalry though. Been a long while since we've met in the playoffs.
Dont get me wrong. I think the leafs match up great to the habs. Better than the oilers. I also think the habs match up better to the oilers than the leafs

Nylander bailed. Look at the pictures.
Ya look. Tavares and Nylander in position to handle tatar then second picture 1 of these guys isn't where he should be. Why is Boyd there? Where should he be? Why would he leave his position when the puck carrier has nowhere to go?
Answer those questions please. Or keep driving your narrative

Man I have no idea what Boyd was thinking there... And why people are constantly blaming Rielly for that.

You dont allow a break and shift off. His lazy shifts cost the team in ot against edmonton as well. Nobody else does this. He could have skated to help break up the play and then shifted. Keefe said his benching was an accumulation of things. This was one of them.

He left the team to deal with a shorthanded break.

I could probably find a handful of these types of line changes every game when a team is on the powerplay. Specifically calling out Nylander in this one instance when other players are much more to blame doesn't prove anything other than you have a bias against him.

Keefe said he was benched because he wasn't on the same page as the team IN THE 3rd PERIOD.
do you know when the breakaway happened?
Nylander was never within 30 feet of the play. Could he have skated back? Yes, but I'm pretty sure the man that came in for him go back faster that Nylander could have as he jumped on the ice from the side of the bench close to the centre line and in full flight with rested legs.
There is no way Nylander could have altered that play. Zero. Nil. Nada. Zip.
Well he could have thrown his stick and speared kont and stopped the goal :dunno:

@Notsince67 in the second picture top you will see Nylander and another leafs getting off the ice, so I guess they are both at fault? Or just Willie as you've been saying this whole time just because you say?

I called every goal. I assign credit and blame. Only the purest partisan Nylander fan cant accept the criticism of something he clearly did wrong. He has had bad shifts b4. I just dont get the denial. The guy was benched ffs for his playing.

Did u see how far he was away from the bench. The person shifting on had zero chance.
