And he did it w/o 16 or 88 on RW.greatest game ever as a leaf
That's what she said...and to think.. the Bruins still haven't seen Willy
I'm obviously exaggerating when I say afraid. Emphasis was meant to point out how you need to be able to take a beating in order to beat us now.Relax, it's one game. They will beat Boston, and then even win the second round, but I can promise that neither Carolina nor the Rangers are particularly afraid of playing the Leafs.

Aren't we glad the PP will be back to the usual once Nylander gets back? All of a sudden ,Bert back on the PP = 1/3 on the PP
No one could have seen this coming.![]()
I love the little rivalry forming between Bert and Marchand.
Through 2 games Bertuzzi has been the most impactful out of the 2. Marchand is invisible 5 on 5. Bert is everywhere
I think Leafs fans think that because the team finally has some physical players the rest of the league should cower in fear. Carolina and the Rangers have physical players, too. So does Boston. So do Florida and Tampa. And every other playoff team (save for maybe the Islanders). None of these teams are scared of any other team. Where the Leafs are going to run into a problem is special teams, where a team like Carolina has the potential to eat them for lunch. It's fine against Boston because they aren't much of a threat to score. It won't be so easy against Carolina or the Rangers.I would be. This is the nastiest iteration of the Leafs we've seen in years, and if they get any kind of goaltending at all, they're dangerous.
I think that was always going to be the case. He needs to drive his own line. Always did to be at his best. And he did it w/o 16 or 88 on RW.
It's been 8 years...he has never stepped up when it matters. On the plus side, if Marner ever finds his game, we'll be a force to reckon with.
Knies has been steadily regressing the second half of the seasonGotta give Reaves credit. I was probably his biggest detractor the day that contract was signed. He played a big role tonight.
Matthews showing the world what he’s capable of.
Marner a ghost…..
Lyubushkin should never touch the puck. Ever.
Knies needs to keep his head up, I bet he comes out of the lineup for Nylander even if just to heal some bruises.
It will be Robbie when Willie comes back, despite Knies getting knock down quite a bit, his size is very usefulHolmberg and they make Willy or Jarnkrok Center? Maybe not lol
He hit Sammy in the head with his stick.I am still trying to figure out what got Boosh so worked up. Anyone have any idea?
He hit Sammy in the head with his stick.
Another thing was that the last pk with 6 minutes left was super aggressive, that’s what we need to do. We are way toooo passive against Boston and just let them setup up and move it around
