Simmonds gave him a concussion on a cheap shot. This is is second game back, and he gets elbowed in the face...

McDonagh gave the first cheap shot (cross check to the head/neck) to Simmonds, he deserved what he got from Simmonds.

Komarov was aiming at his body, McDonagh slowed up as Komarov was checking him. Komarov closes his eyes when he's throwing a check so he can't alter his trajectory. He can not be faulted & I'm sticking to that.

MacD put himself in a beer-league position but it was still an elbow to the head on a player in a vulnerable spot.
