Interesting way to look at it and it's a very good point.

I honestly didn't even consider that part of it.

For so often, the playoffs have been tight checking and you need guys that can play in all situations.

I actually think the way you were thinking about is the way many NHL GMs think about it. In terms of appearances, they'd rather have a guy that reduces goals scored both ways than a guy who scores two GWG but then makes a terrible play that leads to a GWG against.
