Nonis just said "I think we feel pressure to make the playoffs every year." And he basically said that as long as the current player coming in helps us down the road, it still makes sense. Luo could still play for atleast another 5 years.

Yup sounds like he will not be trading future for present which was my main concern.

Mackinnon = first line star, ready for the show
Jones - First pair defensemen, extremely raw
Drouin - Claude giroux the second with defense and physical problems
Barkov - Mikko Koivu/Jumbo Joe Hybrid with skating issues
Lindholm - second coming of forseberg
Pulock - booming shot from the point who plays solid defense
Nischukin - powerful NA style russian center
Fucale - best goalie of the draft
Sean Monahan - Jordan Staalish or Eric Staal? Toews is my preference.
Darnell Nurse - Hamilton style raw potential.
Frederik Gauthier - Colborne style questional offense ceiling
Curtis Lazar - WHL mike richards project, questionable offense

Just some off my mind...if we were to get a couple of first rounders from this draft....we are going to be in SOLID position.

Obviously not but for those who are desperate for the cup run in a short season, we can entice them IMO, and add maybe some pieces that are projects or take on salary hits.

Yeah I would trade Mac for a 2nd too. Trading him opens a spot for Naz. I wouldn't trade Bozie unless we are bringing in a better center or filling a big hole (goalie)

Well if we do move bozak and i pray we keep kadri, it would be good to see Kessel getting him in the center or say colborne even.
