Country can have some catchy songs. I dont mind having it on if I'm outside working on something. I can take it in small amounts, some songs can get really whiny/repetitive

Traditional country songs I'm not a huge fan of but the newer stuff, the country pop stuff I guess how you could describe it I find to be good.

You can make a case for any genre having reoccurring themes in music. It all has to do with culture. For example, EDM is a lot of boozing, drugs, woman and clubbing, etc. Rap is a lot of fast cars, gang stuff, N words, etc. Obviously there are exceptions, but you get what I mean.

The thing I don't like about Country/Rap is the lifestyle associated with it. People who like that music tend to focus their lives around it, you can tell what they listen to just by the way they act and dress. With all other genres you don't see this as much. Obviously there's exceptions on both sides, but based on my experiences it's true.

My girlfriend lives in a small town, sort of out in the boons. Everyone in her family has trucks, and then she told me one day that she wanted to get a truck, I simply asked her why and she couldnt give me a reason lol. I think she said "its safer".

Tractor Day was awesome! I took a John Deere 4760 in grade 12 much like this.

But I am also not a guy who really looks like a person who looks like a stereotypical country music listener. I listen to a lot of EDM.

Some of the songs they just showed the singer say "truck" when the song isn't even about the truck so they aren't signing about trucks.

Rap, and Hip Hop is probably more guilty on all songs being the same.
