16th on our first list as well. Great tools and upside. Big kid who can skate...seemed to me like a player coaches were holding back. Reminds me a bit of my buddy Jason Fortier joining the Rouyn coaching staff and seeing what he had in Philippe Myers, he coached up that kid and let him play to his strengths. Totally different player that season, helped largely because his coach didn't hold him back.

I learned way back not to trust coaches use of players when scouting. I coached, so I know how much a coach can impact a player.

William Wallinder will see ice time in the mens team now when Mattias Norlinder made the WJC and Anton Öhman is injured.

With Norlinder at WJC and Toby Enström injured, he got to play over 12 minutes tonight against Almtuna. Played really well and was one of Modos best Ds. Also got his first point in Allsvenskan with a nice assist!

You would take him in the first round? Not sure he makes it to round 2 (pick 39ish). Maybe the Canadiens package up 2 or 3 of their second rounders to move up into the late first round???

Another great video, as always! His skating is indeed smooth as butter. Give this kid 3-4 years with a good defense coach and he'll become incredible

Draft Dynasty hasn’t made videos for some of the fast dmen but based on the footage I’ve seen I would probably rank them like this:

1 Drysdale
2 Wallinder
3 Jurmo
4 Sanderson
5 Guhle
All Other Good But Not Great: Poirier/Niemela/Johannesson/Powell/Faber/Grans/Barel
