crazy he won the award with playing only just over half the season. He was only Dman that averaged over a point a game. I wish he would have played a full 72 game season cause his point total would have been huge
Sanheim had 63 in 64 GP, as a year younger. I really think Sanheim was the best defensemen in WHL this year, but Shea was right behind him with Provorov as #3 IMO.

Shea is going to be a 1D: whereas I feel Sanheim projects to be a good #3 or 4 who can run the PP. Just my opinion anyways.

All I was pointing out is there are a hundred ways to look at stats. Evaluate the player, not the stat line.
