Amazing player who I really like and was high on for the draft, but I'm also beginning to think that points in the OHL aren't worth what they used to be.
Yeah, because they traded it to the Sharks for Erik Karlsson, and then the Sharks used 42nd overall (Pens had two picks in the mid-40's) to move up with the Pens pick to get Dickinson.
Compared to when?Amazing player who I really like and was high on for the draft, but I'm also beginning to think that points in the OHL aren't worth what they used to be.
So did Conroy, the Devils GM, and the Kraken's GM. You could argue the Sens as well, but I think Yakemchuk fits a much bigger need than Dickinson who looks to be a less intelligent Sanderson.Jesus, Kyle Dubas, you absolutely blew it.
Dickinson's point totals are very confusing, and I say this as someone who has watched most of his games this season. The simplest way I can put it is that things happen when he's on the ice. He's outscoring the likes of Cowan, Barkey, Bonk, O'Reilly, and Nichol by literally almost a half a point per game. It's not like he's riding the coattails of anyone else.Amazing player who I really like and was high on for the draft, but I'm also beginning to think that points in the OHL aren't worth what they used to be.
That's a stretch to say the least don't you think?Yeah, because they traded it to the Sharks for Erik Karlsson, and then the Sharks used 42nd overall (Pens had two picks in the mid-40's) to move up with the Pens pick to get Dickinson.
Some people get excited about the points (it's the fantasy hockey people) NHL GMs get excited about the scouting report of this guy.Amazing player who I really like and was high on for the draft, but I'm also beginning to think that points in the OHL aren't worth what they used to be.
It's a stretch to say that the Penguins almost certainly could have packaged picks 14 and 45 to get Sam Dickinson? Unless you think the difference between pick 42 and pick 45 is truly a deal-breaker...That's a stretch to say the least don't you think?
Sure they could have but in reality they probably wouldn't have and I get that people don't like Dubas but give him blame in real life not pretend situations. It's a stretch to say that the Penguins almost certainly could have packaged picks 14 and 45 to get Sam Dickinson?
