Yeah, because they traded it to the Sharks for Erik Karlsson, and then the Sharks used 42nd overall (Pens had two picks in the mid-40's) to move up with the Pens pick to get Dickinson.

Regardless of the actual point totals, he's currently sitting 3rd in the league as a defenseman. I doubt he'll maintain this pace but if he does... he's going to make teams regret passing on him.

Jesus, Kyle Dubas, you absolutely blew it.

So did Conroy, the Devils GM, and the Kraken's GM. You could argue the Sens as well, but I think Yakemchuk fits a much bigger need than Dickinson who looks to be a less intelligent Sanderson.

Dickinson's point totals are very confusing, and I say this as someone who has watched most of his games this season. The simplest way I can put it is that things happen when he's on the ice. He's outscoring the likes of Cowan, Barkey, Bonk, O'Reilly, and Nichol by literally almost a half a point per game. It's not like he's riding the coattails of anyone else.

I think it's fair to say that London's scorers are pretty generous. Cowan's point streak demands it.
