I prefer Linden's quote from the other day to be our new slogan, The Vancouver Canucks: "you know what you're gonna get"

At this point, I might not be surprised if/when the Sedins are traded.

At this point there is nothing that can salvage this team except a completely fresh start.....maybe this is what they're thinking....create a situation where there is no other choice but to completely tear it down.

Won't be surprised if the Sedins, Burrows, Higgins and Hamhuis aren't back.

I prefer: "It's not about performance, good or bad" TL

Words to live by, may as well be the slogan.

And here I thought maybe we'd go a day without something idiotic happening :shakehead

Yeah its just day after day week after week of negativity.

I keep waking up hoping that we get some positive news on the UFA front that we have signed someone good to take draws, or a PMD for dirt cheap or something. We do have 4 mill in cap space.

What happened to bargain bin hunting? We lost our best center and pmd for Utica, who is going to replace them?

The Canucks need to work on timing, if you got some dirty work to do, get it over with quick, then do something positive to put some lipstick back on the pig.

I would not be surprised if they asked for a trade. They can't be pleased with the moves the team has made.

I was thinking of this and also thinking it would be a bit funny if Horvat asked for a trade he sees these clowns at work and can't be impressed

Every time he opens his mouth the little boy in me dies a little.

All I feel I feel like doing is chanting in perfect EPL style: YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!

Might feel the same, but Linden has committed the fatal sin of getting caught out as a pretender.

Hes always been a carefully crafted image guy.

Compare him to Shannahan.

Shannahan has always been an ******* and hes never shied away from that.

Linden has always crafted his image as a pure, non-political, no nonsense guy.

Horvat's organizing a secret resistance force behind the scenes, what a hero :)

Originally I thought there'd be no way they'd waive their NTCs, and that they'd be Canucks for life...

but I can actually see Benning and Linden pushing them out, and the Sedins not wanting to stay somewhere they're not wanted.

If they do end up trading a bunch of players, I do not feel comfortable at all having these guys doing the trading.

In one of the threads (maybe this one) it was just posted that Dan Sedin's house just went on sale. http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2015/07/daniel-sedins-5-9-million-shaughnessy-home-for-sale-photos/ I have no idea if that means he's just moving houses in Van or ...

Well, it didn't mean that Gaborik was signing here when he was looking at buying so I don't think the situation above is indicative of anything other than wanting to get a new house.
