This is likely the biggest win in Latvian hockey. Period. They played out of their minds and deserve to celebrate.

Im a Canadian and am applauding them. That was a masterful goaltending effort from their goaltender.

And it wasn't a fluke. Latvia played a strong game overall. Good skating, passing, team play, and strong defense and in nets.

I really hope they build on this and continue to work on their program. They have a ton of potential.
