Imagine the "Grump" on that plane. The players, their GM and their family having to come back up here again. Within days, 28 hours of flying when all is said and done. Imagine Keith Tkachuk...lol

No matter the outcome of this game the team deserves the fans to stay a bit to show the love of what they accomplished this season, and playoffs.

I am proud of this team and it what I care about most.

I always felt if this team can play with 80 percent of the passion of the old oilers teams that played through the era of Ryan Smyth too it would be so possible to win with the high end talent combined with deep desire to win at all cost

We've pushed back against all odds against a good opponent on the biggest stage.

Fantastic season regardless of how it goes.

Did anyone take a look at the numbers at even strength last game? The Nurse-Broberg pairing got busted up pretty bad. Would prefer to go back to Kulak-Broberg and seriously do something about Nurse. It's no coincidence every pairing that guy is on is horrific while our pairings away from him typically break even if not dominate.

I've already mentally prepared myself for the Oilers eventually losing this series. All logic and history tells me that this is the most probably outcome.

And yet, I dare to hope.

Not this time. This time we have a generational talent that rose this team from the dead to not just squeak into the playoffs but to dominate until the last game. When we here 18 years ago we didn’t have that. We had a team that was very well structured and caught lightning in a bottle. They were never expected to win a cup. This time we have a well oiled machine that has been through hell the past 5 years to get here. Connor will not let this slip away. This is a team of destiny lead by the best player to lace em up since Mario and Wayne. It’s not a matter of if we win game 6 it’s a matter of how much we win by.

My girlfriend is a chef and used to do the meals for certain visiting teams. Zero chance they mess with the food no matter how hard I tried to convince her.

That makes no sense to me. It gives them less time to be ready for the game and change in time zone but maybe they're trying to replicate what worked for them in game 3.

I think you keep the pairing together, but don't hesitate to start managing them if they blow up like they did in Game 5.

O zone and neutral zone draws only and never pair them with the 4th line. If Darnell repeats his game 5 performance you don't lose much by parking him with three other LHD available to cycle through, two of which can play off side if needed.
