I saw the replay of the big hit that he received today. Did he come back and play a regular shift after that?
Sure did.

I will worry about him every time he takes a big hit. Some big, strong boys are playing pro, and most are quicker than the ones in college hockey.Sure did.
He’s a tough kid. Competitor for sure! Saw that last year when he got into a fight against the Swedes.Sure did.
He was more than fine after!I will worry about him every time he takes a big hit. Some big, strong boys are playing pro, and most are quicker than the ones in college hockey.
I didn't notice him at all this weekend
From 32 thoughts.
Friedman - I was talking about Michkov and the calder and I got a text from a Habs player that just said Hutson will make a run for it.
Friedman thinks Hutson will have a harder curve as he will be more of a focus.
He added that the Habs players really think highly of Hutson
You can fast forward to the 9:30ish mark to start to hear Friedman and Bukaskas or whatever talk about him
The weak answer was his size, which is like .5 inches smaller than Michkov.I'm not sure how Hutson will be more of a focus than Michkov considering Philly has like one other forward who can score?

Because there’s some 30K fans in the Philly area (20K of whom who attend home games) - Flyers are a distraction between NFL, NBA and MLB seasonsI'm not sure how Hutson will be more of a focus than Michkov considering Philly has like one other forward who can score?
I was one of them.People said the exact same thing with Caufield,
Who ended up losing a big chunk of his season two years ago.People said the exact same thing with Caufield,

It's normal to have these worries with the smaller guys.
Did his teammates stand up for him after the hit? Wasn't able to watch the gamesSure did.
Yeah Caufield's injury was on the PP tracking back. His head also got dinged net front a couple of games before that.they collided by accident no? Guys like Caufield and Hutson rarely get smoked for a reason, but it's hockey so no one will make it throughout their career without injuries, big hits, they are going to get hit as will everyone that plays hockey no matter what size you are. But because they have been so small likely their entire careers, unlike say guys like Poehling who would keep skating with their head down, they know to keep their head up.
I mean we just lost a full season from one of the biggest players on our team.Who ended up losing a big chunk of his season two years ago.

And what?I mean we just lost a full season from one of the biggest players on our team.
Everyone can get hurt, but guys who are small have typically learned from a young age to avoid the big hits, whereas guys who never had to worry about it (see: Lindros, Eric) will be more vulnerable at the highest level.
