trade this kid plus our first round this year for whoever has the #1 pick for Celebrini
 
Hopefully we sign him this year, One year in Laval then PP specialist with Habs!
 
I think it's time to trade him, his value is at its peak.

He could get us a really nice return for a forward.

With Struble, Mailloux, Guhle, Engstrom, Konyushkov and Reinbacher, we are loaded on great young defenders.

In all of hockey history, was there ever a small, offensively-minded defenseman, that wasn't also an elite skater?

And I don't mean a PP triggerman or specialist, I mean a guy who controlled transition at 5 on 5.

Habs biggest weakness is on the PP with a QB. So here's an idea, let's trade the only prospect that was bred to QB a PP!!

PP is a crapshoot. Hard to say what will work or not, why some teams excel and others don't. You can put star players together and it doesn't mesh.

The Habs won't contend for 4-5 years, If I can get top value for Hutson today I'm pulling the trigger.

What's missing a a PP QB from the backend. Lane Hutson is exactly that and is elite at it. Like a Markov.

You can't trade him.

The guy they should consider trading is Struble, at his highest value!

Struble will win you more cups than a player like Markov.

Markov was not that valuable in the playoffs, because you don't win cups on the powerplay when Refs lose their whistle.

And Markov was great 5-on-5 at the NHL level (at least in the RS), something which is still a big "?" in Hutson's case.

Struble will be a solid dman. Lane Hutson will be a difference maker ala Markov.

Struble is the one you trade as he doesn't have any elite traits.
