Would be a good lesson. No nepotism @ New Jersey + he could have honed his game watching game tape of Lane Hutson in the NHL running the show.

Come to think of it, Luke Hughes' development being squandered in the big leagues. I think he needs a stint in the AHL trying to mimic his game on Lanes game style.

Some of the comments have now turned to Hutson needs a D partner to cover for his defensive deficiencies. This is highly disingenuous as he's been solid defensively and has played like a legit #1 over the last 25 games.

He doesn't need it....but a top defence first d-man would be absolutely insane to pair with Hutson. He could be even more free to create -- if you can even imagine what that would look like! Hopefully Reinbacher becomes that guy!
