I haven’t seen enough of L hughes to say id take hutson over him period

I just don’t go in luke hughes threads and smear crap all over the walls because i don’t want him to be good

The worst type of fan is the one that cheers against teams more than he cheers for his own team, there are like a half dozen of these bozos that pollute every habs thread
Exactly why I said to stop shitting on each others defenseman.

I just went back 3 pages and got bored but I know there's more.
I didn't say Hutson should be playing in the AHL, I said if he was in the Devils organization he would be. And that's a fact.

Stop getting so easily triggered because other fans don't think your team's prospects are the greatest ever. You guys are getting pretty annoying with this crap.

So the Devils would mismanage him? Curious.

Given that last season was terrible for the Devils and this season is seen as a Playoffs or bust for them who on the Left side would you take out.

Siegenthaler - one part of the pairing that is a top shutdown pairing in the NHL
Luke Hughes - played three games in the playoffs straight away and came out with 2 points. Then was in the running for the Calder last year with Faber
Dilon - The Veteran Tough guy with an edge that everyone says the Devils needed cause they were way too soft.

If he isn’t on your main squad you’re mismanaging him. Facts.
For a team trying to make the playoffs, you play your best 6 dmen.

Hutson doesn't beat out any of Pesce, Hughes, Kovacevic, Siegs, Hamilton or Dillon.

And since you don't stick a 20 year old in the press box to rot, you send him down.

I have him play right side and learn a whole new set of skills.

And he doesn't play over Pesce Kovacevic or Hamilton there

Eventually Kovacevic will likely come down to earth and be the 7D, but even then you'd be looking for a more defensively sound guy who can kill penalties effectively in that, and that's almost certainly Nemec.

He'd be pushed out the same way Casey was, a clearly promising young dman who was not good enough defensively to have a role on a team trying to win.

The rest of his teammates seem to be doing just fine. Excellent even. Pretty frustrating sophomore slump.
Shooting luck goes like that sometimes when the sample size is 10 games.

Eg: last year through this timeframe that Luke has played(Oct 23th-Nov 14th), Slaf had a 5v5 OISH of 3%.
Eg: last year through this timeframe, the rangers did not score a single 5v5 goal with Adam Fox on the ice
Eg: last year through this timeframe, CONNOR MCDAVID had a 5v5 OISH of 2.5% and 1 5v5 point.

As I said, buy low opportunity to take advantage of fools who don't understand statistics. Expect him to be somewhere around 8-10% going forward instead of 1.4%

He should get more opportunity on the PP as well going forward, but NJD has had just 22 PP opportunities in the last 10 games.
