His skating style is so unique, it's like you can never tell which way he's going to move out there. He's practically sideways on his feet

Demidov has a similar skating style though more pronounced with a 10 / 2 V. Hutson’s skating is underrated. The only perceived deficiency is his skating backwards, however i think he is unconventional in purpose. He can defend better skating forwards when he can apply better leverage on attacking players.

That was one of his more quiet games too. Usually he's just all over the ice, making plays. This game was more difficult to shine in because Flyers were shutting things down.

Signing long term for anything short of 12 million would be incredibly stupid from Hutson - that's still 16 million he'd be leaving on the table which is generational wealth that is too much to leave on the table.

9-10 million aav probably gets you a 4-5 year deal for him.
