It never was. Those two are just as unique as Hutson is, especially Pronger. Name one other D who could do all the shit Pronger did. I’m struggling to come up with one.

He was elite offensively, elite defensively, made his teammates around him better, elite passer, cannon of a shot, brutally physical, elite in transition, elite power play quarterback, a leader, and one of the nastiest, meanest players in NHL history on top of all of it.

Maybe i'm biased because of that 2011 powerplay. LOL. But I loved all of those big mean defensemen. Loved Chara. Loved Pronger. The kind of players that would knock your teeth out by "accident".

That was one of his more quiet games too. Usually he's just all over the ice, making plays. This game was more difficult to shine in because Flyers were shutting things down.

Read or heard that his dad had him and his brother skate with unlaced skates to get a real good feel for edges etc. you can really see it in his skating style. And his straight on speed is incredible
