Kings should of never included Kupari in the deal. Has all the tools but just needs to put it all together. He may surprise some Jets fans in a few years as a good middle 6 forward.
Should have*

Yeah lol sorry i shouldn't correct native english speakers, that one is just funny to me. I agree 100%.

Lambert is going to be a dynamic NHL player. He is trending way up over the last year and has had nothing but rave reviews from coaches and fans alike in Seattle. He also showed very good flashes of what he can bring in the pre season last year and is only 19. So my question to you is what the hell are you talking about?
Lambert wont play 100 games in the NHL

Who cares though? He's by FAR the most effective Kings forward with the puck. The Kings haven't had a player like Fiala since Palffy. I think you can find a way to get over him not being very effective away from the puck.

And on the one team that needs that the most.

Rasmus Kupari is one of those players who looks great with the puck, right until the time comes where he has to do something with it.

He has size, he is physical, he's a great PK'er but offensively I just don't see it ever happening. He will have a long career as a very good 4th liner.

As suspected another breakout confirmation

Yeah the concerns about him quitting are silly. Dude probably left because he saw the coaches playing Kotkaniemi over him even though he was a lot better.

Not to mention the pressure of being a QC player in Montreal.

I really don't understand how this thread keeps involving the Habs over and over again, weeks after the Jets traded him to LA.

Because their fans were so convinced he was "coming home" and kept offering God awful trade proposals since he was "going to sign here for free next year" anyway.

It went into overdrive when he was spotted at Montreal F1. Just because he was hanging out with Caufield (J Hughes was there too) he was now guaranteed to be a Cab a year from now.

There is a thread for him because it looked like he was going to force his way to the Habs. Many of us weren't interested in him unless it was for futures or cheap. Already had 2 centres equal or better than him and now 3 with Newhook.

Not if you know what you are looking at. He is 3 years younger and hasn't played with scoring line forwards yet. He will be a t worst Duboi' equal when Habs are ready to contend.

From the king of worthless posts. I have been evaluating prospects for 40 years looking at offensive potential. I have made some bad picks in my keeper league but the majority have done well.

So you're staking your ridiculous claim on your (alleged) fantasy hockey draft success?

FYI, Pens need a GM. You should apply for the job!

Don't let having a clue what you're talking about get in the way of offering your opinion.

At no time did Jesperi Kotkaniemi play ahead of Danault. That just simply never happened.

You are clearly making this up and amazingly, you're doing it at a hockey forum where people are going to obviously know that you are entirely full of shit.

Try this thing at the water cooler at work, you have a much better chance of getting away with it.

Any word on a Vilardi contract or is it going to Arbitration at this point? Any rumors on what he’s asking for?

I think there is a zero % chance it goes to arbitration.

Beyond that? Probably a 2 year deal like Pionk got, but you'll hear nothing about it until it is close.
Just out of morbid curiosity from a Kings fan who is still confused with how quickly Vilardi was traded after such a long journey to productivity,

What makes you so certain that it won’t be going to arbitration? I admittedly have no sense of where the entire process even got to with LA, much less where it has gone with the Jets.

Most Jets fans feel that the organization wants to get something done before arbitration so as not to make a shitty first impression with what is now your newest core/franchise guy. Jets are probably willing to slightly overpay to make it happen before arbitration.
