ok well, i had no idea i was talking to a fanboy

here i am, being level minded, bashing my own kings while supporting the fact that Dubois is indeed a good player

but you're a fanboy!!! and you already reveal yourself at being agressive when i haven't even insulted your mother

all good, so let me now play at your level

give me a $100m cap w/ a favorable expansion draft rule change, and i'll produce you cups at a faster rate than 6 years

loser

Yikes. You made a weird claim about Eichel, which the other poster argued, and now you're talking about the entire Vegas team? Eichel played great. Didn't see an ounce of "maturity issues" as you claim.

Not even a fan of Vegas, but your posts read like Eichel took you on a fishing trip you regret. Or the entire Vegas team took your Mom on a fishing trip she doesn't.

Also, Vegas absolutely built their team. If you think it was handed to them, check their history of moves. The comedy thinking their cup win wasn't well played in all aspects. "Level headed" lmaaooo

If Danault causes problems the Kings can trade him after this season when his full NTC becomes a 10 team one. He can either be an elite 3rd line C in LA or he can go to a bad team to get more icetime.
Yeah the concerns about him quitting are silly. Dude probably left because he saw the coaches playing Kotkaniemi over him even though he was a lot better.

Literally didn't say anything :DD, nor did he give any reason why he won't change his mind again in a few years.
Of course he wasn't going to. That's how it works these days. No bulletin board material

Did you really expect to to insult either city? Call a coach and ahole? Or call an organization bush league?

Why a bad team?

Why a bad team?

Danault is one of those guy that if he wants to win a cup it's going to have to be in a checking role where he's playing behind two better offensive centers. It's tough to imagine a team winning a SC with Danault as a 2C.

If he were to cause problems in LA due to lack of ice-time, any trade involving more icetime would have him going to a lesser team.

Or a better overall team with worse centers?

A 3rd center making $8mill seems a little excessive.
Salary's like that or other players like Kopitar who are no playing up to their salary are the exact reason why we are no contenders

I just meant it was pointless to post the interview.
I loved the interview. Glad it was posted. He is obviously very happy where he is at the moment. If you listen to the whole thing he bounces around following his dad all his life and it looks like he is wanting to put down some roots and found a place he is excited about.

I have now heard three different interviews since the trade, and he basically says the same thing in each one. I’m not worried about him at all.

I thought it was awesome. How I figured it take them two years just to figure out the different things around LA for him to do.

I guess I’m one of the few kings found that really like this trade and I really think him and Fiala could form 2/3 of an awesome line

Might be hard to assess how the Kings do with that goaltending disaster that you currently have.

For the last several years, the Kings have seemed to be one of those teams for whom the whole hasn't been better than the sum of its parts. It like a machine that has good gears, but they just don't fit together quite right. Maybe Dubois will finally find himself in LA and mesh with the rest of the team, but I get the weird gut feeling that he's going to be another odd gear there and the Kings will end up dealing him in a couple of years.

I think it's been the opposite. That 21-22 team very much overachieved.

I hear ya. Jets were also less than the sum of its parts so we’re changing out a few gears and see what happens.

I don't think it's going to be an issue. Stoll got plenty of ice time as the 3C
