Trades generally have the same number of contracts going back and forthThis feels like overpayment
One poster does not represent the entire fanbase. Perhaps you are too sensitive to be on these boards?Yeah no....I gotta chime in on this one.
It may have only been for a few weeks but the level of smug, self righteous "Well we'll just get him for free next summer LOLZ" was enough to leave an impression.
Its weird, the trade arguably makes LA easier to play against for a bit of an offensive boost but like...its weird.I think trading Vilardi has more to do with his contract demands than it does for the caliber of player he's returning.
Consider that Dubois didn't want to sign, the Jets just robbed the Kings with this trade. I am happy that Hughes didn't try to outbid the Kings.Kings trying to make their version of the Eichel trade. Except Dubois isn't as good and unlike the Knights, the Kings don't have the over all depth to make such a trade.
Good deal for the Jets.
To a TYeah, that's how it went.
Hahahaha one poster? One poster does not represent the entire fanbase. Perhaps you are too sensitive to be on these boards?
We have a dumb f*** GM who’s trying his best to save his job in the worst way possible. He’s an idiot. There is no reason to trade VilardiAs an Oilers fan, I don't get this for LA. The guys going away were such a pain to play against. I would not make that trade if I was LA
PLD has only missed 22 games in the last 6 seasons. 12 in 19/20, 9 last year and 1 in 21/22. He played every game in his other 3 seasons. He has never stayed healthy. Winnipeg's version of Monahan.
its seems like the jets have been knocking on that door forever now ... i love watching games in the building and intend on watching a game once their ... but i feel for the fansLike I said in the other thread:
Jets still have Josh Morrissey (one of the top d-men last year) and elite forwards in Ehlers and Kyle Connor and a lot of good complementary pieces.
Yep, they certainly could have gone for a rebuild but are just turning over their aging core for new blood and a new culture.
Jets will not be as good but they do have some solid prospects that will soon be knocking on the door.
As a fan this is the most excited I've felt since the Cup run.its seems like the jets have been knocking on that door forever now ... i love watching games in the building and intend on watching a game once their ... but i feel for the fans
So kings fans are upset there giving away 3 3rd liners for a 1C?Basically has elite shot suppression metrics which makes him an ideal middle six complimentary piece that has some skill to finish
Big concern is injury history, otherwise he looks like a good piece for both regular season and playoffs with his style?
The Kings are trading the best player plus others for a player that doesn't fill any holes. So kings fans are upset there giving away 3 3rd liners for a 1C?
Correction. A second liner a third liner and a fourth liner for a 1C, a fourth liner, a late pick and probably a pressbox prospect. So kings fans are upset there giving away 3 3rd liners for a 1C?
