I'm good. I'm very comfortable with what I said all along. I was consistent. Jets fans are just going to be salty about it. It's clear and the character shows.

Good luck with the return. Hope it works out
If the return is what is reported, exactly what do we have to be salty about?

Our ask of Dach ++ looks to be the going price

Huh? If an older, inferior center in Bo Horvat was worth a 1st, Raty and Beauvillier how is Dubois not worth this package? Iafallo = Beauvillier, Kupari = Raty and the 17th overall pick in this draft is probably more valuable than Vilardi.
Horvat has had a better P/PG and GPG over the past 3 years than Dubois. How exactly is he inferior again?

How are we salty about it lmao, we got a good return in a situation where we had almost no leverage and we don’t have to deal with your terrible trade proposals anymore :thumbu:

Win-win for everyone except Habs fans, who wasted their own time as well as everyone’s sanity for the better part of 2 years, trying to be trolls. Cheers!

Looks like a very stout top 9 that can do some damage in the playoffs.
Need 2 quality goonish characters and another G
Perhaps one or more of those assets will be in the deal.

You have a great team. Oiler fans don’t want to see the kings again, because it could go either way. I just feel like today the moves made from the kings didn’t really make you guys any better. But I’m a big fan of the two guys you traded.

You have to know a cup situation on our roster before you comment. We have another player like Iafallo that just got signed for the same type of contract who is a bit younger with way better wheels with more scoring upside in Trevor Moore. He makes Iafallo redundant.

I can easily say that PLD was on pace for 90 points before his injury last year, and I believe he has higher upside than Vilardi.

We won’t know for a couple years on how this trade turns out so at this point nobody loses.

PLD provides a 60 to 80 point player with size, speed, and has been proven track record. He just turned 25 and bridges the gap between Kopitar and Byfield

Vilardi was used as a winger and we have another winner named Kaliyev that needs the minutes. Just like trading Durzi to open room for Clarke. The trade of Vilardi and Iafallo should open up space for Kaliyev.

What we saw from Vilardi last playoffs was very good. I would have offered Kaliyev and Byfield instead.

Jets get two top 6 forwards and Kupari has the potential to be a top 6 guy too for PLD.

My guess is PLD plays with Fiala and that could be dangerous.

Kopitar
Kempe
Fiala
PLD
Danault
Arvidsson

That's a solid top 6 but the Kings lose depth.

I think they're probably going to have to trade Arvidsson to fill out the rest of their roster.

Already explained it in a previous post. Not repeating things because then posters get upset and it spins on and on.

Most Habs fans were consistent. We were interested but not desperate. It's a business and if there was leverage, we would have used it. Once Dubois opened up to 5 or 6 teams, the leverage was not there anymore. Reality. Trying to spin that is being salty IMO.
haha repeats it anyways ... sometimes its okay to just let things go and let the trolls keep trolling yo

I don't see how this is a win for the Kings. Giving up Vilardi and Iafallo means less depth, heart and more money.

Enjoy your day. You seem happy. The more I comment, the more the belittle ones come out to play and try to spin things.

Habs fans were mostly consistent in what we said all along. What you didn't comprehend well was The Dach++ ask was not about value, it was about us rebuilding and trying to use potential leverage. We were interested if it was a Trouba and Horvat value but our approach was futures. Once Dubois opened up to 5 or 6 teams, the leverage we talked about faded away.

You should thank Dubois for opening up to 5 or 6 teams. He really didn't want to screw you guys over in the end.

Kings should have been after Hellyebuck as the main piece coming back. They missed out big time. That package could have gotten them Hellyebuck.

With all due respect I do not agree with your opinion and I like 3 guys Kings have traded.

There is still one peace is coming to LA from Winnipeg.

I hope it will be good LD prospect.
