They were too salty to do such a thing. I don't know how the Kings managed to get by the next Toews in Monahan, the next Kane in Gaudreau, and the next Keith and Seabrook in Giordano and Brodie.

Hamilton has been a huge bust for Calgary. Gio has played better over the last 15 games or so, but boy did he start his new contract off with terrible hockey.
Brodie continues to be a stud.
Calgary has a ways to go still.
Good game from the bottom six again, don't miss Clifford at all. Gabo looked good this game actually. Dwight King, this guy does everything, and is cheap.

It never hurts to have more than enough players. It allows Clifford to slowly get over a concussion. It gives Lombardi or Sutter options. It keeps guy on edge a bit. It's a question that doesn't have to be dealt with until Clifford is good to go, which is who knows when.

I was entertaining family and friends last night before going out and getting smashed, so I couldn't comment in the GDT last night, but we took in the entire game before we left.
Total ****ing domination in the first two periods. Bend but not break in the third. I am incredibly impressed by the Kings domination and puck possession in all four games, but in particular the Canadian games. None of those teams ever had a chance.
Going to the game tomorrow. Should be fun welcoming the boys home.
Note: Kings have now tied the record for most points in a divisional lead, 11. The last time the Kings lead by that much was February 2, 1981. Almost 35 years. (!) For a brief time yesterday, they led by 12 points, but Arizona won their game and they leap-frogged to 2nd and are 11 behind the Kings.

Mersch has looked much more comfortable as has Nolan but by the time Clifford is ready to play who knows? The thing with our bottom sixers is their consistency and regardless it will be nice to have a 13th forward with utility and seasoning. Guys like andreoff and mersch being acclimated to the NHL has made a world of difference. Shore too but he's a fixture now.
Yeah Ron didn't remind everyone how scared I was of the 4 in 6 but I was. That's why I think the third looked like conservation last night. Doughty in particular looked pretty ragged towards the end. But everyone held strong especially quickie. Would love to see his numbers from this trip, likely star of the week material.

Oy vey. When's the last time this team was serious about the regular season and not just waking up down the stretch?
The Delay of Game penalty was just Doughty making an astute Hockey play. Doughty realizing the Kings needed a break and that the Flames have the worst power play in the league decided to go short handed for 2 mins to ice any chance the Flames had of scoring a goal. That and it was an epic troll.
Little concerned about Quick's usage. Thought we could have given him a break on the back to back, but Sutter has a history of riding his #1 goalie. Hope we can lock up a playoff spot early and get the key guys some rest before the playoffs.

it's not just Flames games, you see similar stuff in a lot of our post-win PGTs. There is a certain subset of Kings fans who are convinced the media and other fan bases don't respect the Kings enough and it manifests itself in these type of "sore winner" posts.
