You don't need a Big Trade to find it. We've just witnessed what LA Kings hockey is supposed to be (minus a bit in the third, and some officials unprepared for the domination). There's no big trade to come. There's just getting healthy and keep on keeping on.

I really love the size this team has out there right now. It's causing match up problems.... not a lot of teams have multiple large slow defenders, you got

3 lines with a big hard to control in the corner guys on it... and a 3rd line that could be Pearson/Carter/Gaborik... talk about ridiculous speed..

I didn't like the chip the puck into the offensive zone in the 3rd... gave Calgary the puck a lot, it may have been better to just continue grinding in the corners and keep them back on their heels.... Flames were just going to be trying those home run passes, but they got some good pressure once the Kings started trying to protect the lead. But that doesn't matter all that much...
 
Agree but it just felt like the Kings were trying to conserve energy rather than just country handle Calgary all of a sudden

I'm not expecting a big trade. Something along the lines of the Regehr trade. Not a sexy one, but would add a ton to the blue line.
 
I loved the game, love how Lucic is fitting in and a small bit of love for #49. He has come up and helped inject a bit of scoring from our bottom pairing.

my only worry is Defence, in particular Mcbain. If we could replace him with a Buff type we are golden. Big, Mean and skilled.

Muzzin was kind of beastly on the D side again. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Kings labeled as a team with two all-star caliber defensmen soon.
 
I can see that Jiri Hudler is on pace for 12 goals and 50 points. A far cry from his 30 goals and 75 points last season.

If only there was a form of analytics that could have predicted this...

Got tough teams coming up in the second half though. Still gotta play Dallas.. Washington..

And games against Anaheim are always trouble no matter how well either team is doing.

6-0, 24GF, 9GA, against the Pacific on the road.

It keeps getting more ridiculous.
