The Pacific is the weakest division but it's time to separate the Kjngs from the rest of the division. We are head and shoulders above everyone else.

Offense is currently ranked 17th, defense, 1st. Both upward trends I think in the past couple weeks. PK is holding steady around 5th, but the PP is starting its freefall, now 20th. Also jumped up in faceoffs by a smidge to 22nd (ouch).

Coincides nicely with this latest winning streak. Which makes sense now that our depth is racking up a few markers and even strength has been almost totally dominated.

the bottom 6 played great and I liked what i saw from MERSCH, he picks great times to pressure up high, also great along the boards and the skating IS as advertised: he's a bit heavy on them.

I think NOLAN was set up nicely today by weal and andreoff...sure nolan had a great game but its because of great work from his linemates.

They said there was no intent to injure...so it's cool if you recklessly chicken wing your way into a hit that was clearly retaliatory, as long as you make it look like you feel warm and fuzzy. I'm with herby that it was name on no name, but I think it was more to do with markets that aren't going to set something on fire. If that hit were Doughty on like, Dale Weise, MTL would burn to the ground until DD were suspended for 30 days.

I got ejected from that main board discussion for comparing the whining from Pens fans to the whiny behavior of Sidney Crosby. It's quite comical, it's like being called for a penalty for standing directly behind Sidney Crosby when he "inadvertently" falls.

Now I completely understand why that team is ridiculed and mocked by the masses in Philly and New York. That organization and a good majority of its fanbase are full of crybabies. I guess it's only acceptable to play chippy when you have clean players like Malkin, Kunitz, Hornqvist, Perron, etc. And let's not forget how they also employed the likes of Cooke, Neal and Orpik. Exactly. No talking **** for me until we're champions again. We embarrassed ourselves enough last year missing the playoffs. A good record 1/3 into the season really doesn't mean much unless they follow through.
