Even if he hadn't scored, Ehrhoff has looked really solid the last few games. Safe to say he has significantly pulled away from Forbort for the #6 spot.

Was listening on the radio on the way home. When Nick said Brown, Shore, and Maritnez on the ice in OT, I said to myself "Sutter is either an idiot or a genius." Turns out he was a genius. Possession skaters and fresh legs ended up working.

That's the difference between last year and this year.. Last year this is a loss. Deserved this win, would have been a shame to lose this one

The defense is the difference. The Kings tore it up before Voynovgate.
After that it they were short a least 1 dman the rest of the season. The problem last year was that the Kings couldn't hold a lead. We have the D to set the tone.

Mike Milbury: "Dustin Brown, what's he doing out on the 3 on 3?"

He only got a sniff in the last minute (along with Shore and Martinez) because everyone else was exhausted.

But damn, what incredible puck possession by the captain. That was ****ing incredible...I can't think of another word!

They were ok until about Dec. And Voynov went out in Oct. after just a few games. Think I head they were at the same point total on Thanksgiving as last year.

I haven't check out the three stars of the game yet, but he definitely deserved one of them.

Wow, this just doesn't sound like Sutter. He's usually a lot more critical about his own team's performance.

"We played well enough to be leading after one and leading after two, and we could’ve still won it in regulation"

"What were the aspects I liked? Well, obviously…if you have the puck all game, you should feel good about it."

"[Reporter: Dustin showed incredible patience. He just held and held and held.] Well, Johansen lost coverage. Any time you lose coverage, it’s going to open something up."

"No, I think we played different tonight than we did the last couple games, that’s for sure, and obviously against a team that probably doesn’t have as much individual skill as the last two teams we played."

Just got back from class. I was being bad and watching the game on the computer during the lecture.

Way to come back.

Yeah, our OT's usually dont go that long . I've seen him out there before when the OT's tend to go longer than 3 plus minutes. Great job by him just controlling the puck, waiting to find the open man.

First game of a long trip where we had 81 shot attempts vs 40 against. And 41 of them were on net.
While missing a forward so lines were really messed up.

Sutter: "Gotta watch Drew's minutes now. He's getting older.":laugh::laugh:

Happy Birthday Drew! 2 SC and 2 gold medals before 26. Not bad.

Dean also confirmed Mersch is on his way up to the big club. Unclear whether he'll be in Columbus in time for practice tomorrow.

Darryl said Clifford is no longer on trip. Used the term "protocol." Said KC began feeling poor late in today's morning skate.

After I'm done taking down this site you want me to take down your professor?

Thanks for fixing it so I can log back in!!! :)

 CBJ...

Brown in OT! Genius!!! Torts didn't see that coming and had no answer.

Maybe this is the spark that gets Brown/Shore going?

I don't know about solid. He continually gets caught pinchng. The second cbj goal was directly due to this

martinez had an excellent game.

Alec Martinez had a goal and an assist and led Kings in SOG (7), shot attempts (12) and blocked shots (4).

he fully deserves the hype for the OT goal. and the star!

I don't understand the dislike for the guy. Solid bottom pairing player that chips in for timely goals. He's always the first person people throw in for "trades"
