what was the PP% over the first 4 games? like 5%?
pretty freaking incredible that its over 20% right now

The GDT was pretty light as well. It wasn't a well execute win but after the way they dominated Arizona and floundered away, I'll take these grinding wins.

I'll also gladly take more ugly goals if some guys like Gaborik developed a backbone to get there.

The Muzzin-Martinez pairing continues to be the most dependable pairing, and Enroth may be one of the best UFA signings during Lombardi's tenure.

He's someone who also needs to be retained for at least two more years. Give Quick a lighter workload, because I do believe Enroth is a goalie the team can trust to start 25 games.

Martin who? Enroth has been great in all three games, and got the vote of confidence by the coach giving him the home start. Doughty was hit and miss tonight , not his best game defensively but glad he got the pp goal.

Kopitar got hit with a puck in the last minute of the game, and never looked right after it. I watched a replay of the game just now, he sure was gingerly skating and favored one leg.

Anyone else see that, and is there any news on him?

I wondered who that was, someone lefty got plugged and it was an audible yell even on the telecast. Not sure, it literally wasn't even mentioned at the time or after, so I hoped/assumed everything was okay.

I watched him live in the arena and it didn't look good.

I watched the replay just now and it looks even worse. I haven't checked Twitter yet, but that thing is going to swell overnight...we'll see.

I am wondering at the post-game reporting I'm watching now, all rah-rah and this and that. I don't see anything about anyone following up on Kopi.

Rough week for Kopi, between that and the Reeves elbow. Sit him out a couple games, let him rest up. Give him a chance to be healthy in January to break his own/ our club streak of being atrocious in that month. Run 1773 as our top-line for the next couple games or whatever it takes.

Mcbain continues to impress, even if he threw Erhoff under the bus tonight with his utter-confusion on the interference. :sarcasm:

Andreoff looks better and better all the time. His turnovers have gone from
-firing the puck into terrible places with a soft, assuming passes to:
+firing the puck to the right places with too much sauce on 'em. That's preferable. We love to rag on Lewey but he takes ugly, off-ice clearance passes very effectively for a guy with no hands at all. (am I doing it rite?) ...

Would you believe me if I told you that Jamie McBain has more points than Gaborik and that Clifford has as many points as Gabo?

I think Gaborik is broken. Dean Lombardi should check the warranty on him.

This bad run of good luck is killing me. Lose some games already so Lombardi trades for some help on D. Maybe Greene will come back soon. That'll get things moving in the right direction.

Brown/Lewis/Shore... greatest line ever... the word of the day is "quarantine"

Gabby's bummed about losing his number to the anthem singer.

There should be a contests to see which defensemen can complete the most passes to the other team.

Imagine how good this team would be with a 3C and another solid defender.

I was there too and was pretty worried about him, but he did stay out and take that last face off with 8 seconds left, even tho he looked terrible and probably shouldn't have. Then he kinda slid into the middle of the handshake line and got off the ice, it was definitely hurting him.

Good game. I think the Isles are at the point the Kings were in their development with Murray. Capuano was the right coach when the Isles were young and not ready to compete with the upper echelon teams. The Isles need their version of Sutter to take over.

Enroth really is legit, I'd like to see him get more starts.

Hope Kopi is okay, I saw that blocked shot and was impressed he could even take the in-zone faceoff after that one.

I heard 3/4 posts but according to Bob Miller they were re-directed by Enroth.

It sounded like an anvil factory out there last night. Ping! Ping! Ping!

Enroth definitely had help from the crossbar and the posts. Although only one really looked like a "just miss"; the others pinged on the outside of the posts.

Anyone see that icing the other night where Quick let it go and it hit the post for the icing? I don't recall ever seeing that before, and thought about it. Of course it meets the rule for icing but I never even considered it because I had never seen that before...I guess most goaltenders would have stopped the puck at that point; Quick's eyes must be like an eagle's to let that one slide by.

Bartosak is a REAL quality prospect. Best goaltending prospect they've had since Bernier/Quick. The early season injury this year might hurt him, but he is very close to being ready. There's no way the Kings would need to retain Enroth for 2 more years. Maybe maybe one more past this one, but that's it.

Oh I don't doubt that, I think he will eventually turn out to be another Jones who may be coveted by other teams, but given that he's only had 32 starts in the AHL (not including his three playoff games). Glad to see he'll be back soon, he was just assigned to Manchester on a conditioning stint.

I think maybe another full season of AHL hockey will serve him well. He'll be 24 by the start of the 2017-18 season. I think there could also be added value with Enroth if he's re-signed to a two year deal as he can be viewed as an asset who could be moved for a team looking for goaltending.

Another game with everyone over 10 mins a game AA was 67% in the faceoff circle leading the kings.I think our 4th line out played the so called best 4th line in the league. Personally I think our 4th line is better. A second pp goal for Drew. Maybe this is the year he gets the Norris All in all a great game by the kings Go kings go
