Chromiak looks to be a really solid player. He projects out to be at least a Gallagher points wise. Any chance MTL is looking to deal Chiarot? LA is looking for a defensive dman. Chromiak could be had + assets.

Look...LA has already started collecting Mtl's junk (Danault, Bergervin), if the LA GM wants Gallagher to add to the collection then nobody here is going to stop it and if he decides to put this unknown Chromeguy then so be it. Nobody here has a say in anything so get off your high horses. And FWIW Danault has never hit over 13 goals so don't expect him to compete with Ovechkin and anyway you do the calculation you will be paying each goal in the mid 6 figures. Bye GMs

while you're off learning elementary math, you should also look up the definition of irony.

Chromiak could turn into next to nothing.

Currently he is a nice prospect to have and you rather keep him and a second instead of a player who is on the downside of his career.

Its not science.
This is the closest definition of Chromiak that I've heard. When the Kings drafted him, GMs and scouts were surprised that the Kings were able to get him where they did. The man has some respect from NHL professionals. But, I've also heard from pundits who know of him, that he may not turn out to be the scorer that he is in the lower levels. For the gamble of the pick that was used on him, it is worth what the Kings sacrificed to see if he will reach his potential. To this point, he has been living up to expectations. He plays a position of need for the team and he is the right age to grow in the system. I don't see the Kings willing to part with that potential. There would definitely have to be some motivation on the Kings part to move him.

Chromiak's a year or two away, but he's probably our best winger prospect and looks as good as Wright.

A 5th rd pick isn't a gamble. It's a shot in the dark.

Another 3 pts from Chromiak so far tonight. For a 5th rounder, he is improving his stock value. Can't ask for more for now. I would suggest we ride him until the pros and take our chances. We need a young scoring winger. Who knows, Byfield with Chromiak might be the future catalysts to unlock the offense on this team.

Not that i agree completely but i also don't see how this is so funny
Wright 32 points
Chromiak 39 pints

Watching the Kingston game now, updated stats:

Wright 34 points
Chromiak 42 points

Wright should be tearing the league up next year though.

In your head, rent free
We absolutely do not trade Chromiak for a 30 year old defender, regardless who it is !!!!!!!
lmao you'd shit you pants, cry from happiness and disbelief, and accept the trade on the phone while jumping up and down, giggling uncontrollably like a wild child if Hedman, Doughty, Pietrangelo, Josi or Karlsson was offered for Chromiak.

Regarless who it is:

You wouldn't trade Chromiak for: Hedman or Josi or Carlson or Pietrangelo?

I'd shit my pants and drive across the border to kidnap chromiak and drop him off myself with mounties in hot pursuit if that were the case

but while we're being pedantic realize you're equating Hedman/Josi/Carlson/Doughty/Pietrangelo/Karlsson with BEN f***ING CHIAROT

No where i did compare them with Chiarot...

Was only thinking about: regarless

But if you want to make this kind of logic: you cant trade Doughty to L.A. because you have it

The guy is untouchable here...should change his name to Unobtainiumiak instead of Chromiak. Objectivity left this thread long ago...just watch...Danault is going to become a 30+ goal PPG center. I just want to know if they are going to film the SC parade in LA?

Yes because Colorado has developed that unhealthy habits of being very happy with a great regular season/personal stats from their top dog and then folding up come playoff time and somewhat being ok with it because MacKinnon, Rantanen and Makar had a great regular season padding their personal stats.

Just enough to make everyone happy but not enough to go anywhere near a cup. That’s what you will keep getting with your 3.5M Kuemper and 5M Girard over and over again
Both Girard and Kuemper played well enough last night for another W at the Habs expense.

I would absolutely not.

The Kings future core players are in the 19-21 year range and still 3-4 years away from contending.
None of those players would be remotely useful at this point.

I am looking forward to build a team.
We have plenty of former glory on our team and they are holding everyone back with their decade long contracts still running
