The Leafs are the most inept franchise in hockey and 1 of 3 in all four major sports.

Plenty of playoff showings with a couple conference finals. Just because we don’t have a cup in almost 70 years doesn’t mean we are one of the most inept franchises in all of sports.

Arizona is a bigger joke. The former atlanta franchise is also a bigger joke. Same with Ottawa despite them making a cup finals.

Every one of those teams but Buffalo has more playoff wins and playoff round wins than the Kings since 2014.

It's not nearly as far off as you're making it sound AND the Kings started from the top and went down rather than the opposite.

I think part of this is just frustration from the playoffs. The Kings were very close to making the Oilers a laughingstock in 2 of the last 3 playoffs.

I don't agree with their current management method (we've seen it up close and personal here in edmonton) but the NHL is also chock full of poorly run franchises.

For what it's worth you're still run better than your California mates.
