Jordan Spence will soon follow.

To be fair here, Spence essentially doubled LaDue's AHL numbers when he was 3 years younger. Hell, he's been putting up much better numbers than Parse did when he was 24. Pretty good for a defenseman. Spence was also top 10 in scoring by defense in his rookie year and led all rookies in points. And he's the only 2001 birthday near the top of the list.

Maybe he does flop, who knows. But that's pretty freakin impressive. And he didn't fall off in his second season, which bodes well.

I don't recall many people hyping up Scott Parse. I thought he was decent. Probably would have been an NHLer if not for injuries.
You weren’t paying attention to the literature if you have forgotten about the fabled Scott Parse

Are we doing that thing again where we trash people for wanting prospects to get longer looks

Because I'm right here and I'll happily jump on that grenade all night

I don't know how many times I've disproved the bullshit myth of "Ladue for Landeskog" though, that's one fable I'm not re-living that again. That's just ignorance at this point. (actually I'm not sure if the receipts exist anymore anyway).

Do you think before you post or do you just say "f*** it, I'll make it up as I go"? (It's a rhetorical question.)

Kings power play against division teams: 20/79 = 25.3%
Kings power play against all other opponents: 48/190 = (wait for it...) 25.3%

🤡

Alright, let's assume the obvious that i am absolutely Pejorative Slured and ignore that playoff 21-22 we had 12.5% PP.

I would like to have only 1 question answered by all the deniers of reality.
How comes that with a HoF Center and a Norris defender mixed with top 5 NHL statistics all across the board, we are bottom of the league since 6 or 7 years and if making the playoff being absolutely destroyed in round 1 by a team that itself is being massacred by the next competent team.

Really, why is that?

LOL. the pacific is the division that won the cup and the only division touching the world's largest and best ocean

The AHL division was the central
I love the Pacific :)

I would also agree that Central is actually worse than the Pacific.
While they have 6 out of 8 teams rebuilding, we got better by 4 out of 8 from 5 out of 8.
Seattle really got their stuff together.

That's really easy. Because this Kings team has no heart, no team identity, and it's an arguably poorly constructed roster of random pieces being coached by a known playoff choker that refuses to change or adapt his plan at all.

It's a team built to win games in the regular season against random teams every night. When the playoffs roll around and opposing coaches are able to make adjustments game to game against the Kings, the team folds like paper because no heart, and the coaches refuse to adapt or change.

But the statistics you always throw into my face contradict everything you just said.
Somehow i get the feeling we talk about the same thing, the team simply and plain doesn't have what it takes when it matters.
It's not just the coaching issue, the players themself are nowhere near filling the roles they are supposed to fill despite being paid as if they would
