Drew,Kopi and former King players reached out to him to congratulate him. Said his family especially his wife was really excited to be coming back. He thought the roster had a chance to do really something special and the Kings had a good team. He is taking his dad to SOFI in August to a Metallica concert.

Awesome. Thanks!

Love fans of other teams not taking me seriously when I said Pheonix is better than what the King's started with last year.

The inference being, Blake is completely fine running with Pheonix this year to start. The cap wasn't going to give many options.

What teams have goalies they may be trying to sneak through waivers this year?
Roster can improve at the deadline if Kings are in a playoff spot.

Without Lemieux the Kings were pretty soft at least Englund gives them someone who drop them.

Lewis rarely fights but he is gritty and a Daryl Sutter favorite. We know how he plays.

Still, a Lemeiux would be nice.

Ideally, Blake should deal Lizotte or Grundstrom and re do the 4th line with a tough guy who can play-JAD-Fagemo/Lewis.

Englund will play over Bjornfot. Tobias is marked as 7 D or trade fodder.

Also, don’t be shocked if Fagemo pushes Arty out of the line up.
That ain’t happening, Arty pre-injury was playing great. Fagemo had a good shot but his overall game is lacking and Todd won’t stand for that

Englund is one of those guys you just know is gonna get knocked out cold.
But again dude, he’s going to do a job no one on this team can.. KO’d or not, we need someone to stand up for the guys

I've always been high on Fagemo. Defensively responsible and a great shot. You put him in the right position and he can be a good contributor.

I'm most concerned with how our Power Play is going to look without Gabe. He added such a great dynamic.

Arty is the only forward besides Byfield who can go to the AHL without waivers. Don't be shocked if he does. Sorry Arty fans.

Please deal Lizotte and Grundstrom.
My money is on JAD going to AHL. Could be Arty or Lewis though.

Funny how Vegas just signed Mason Geertzen, a tough guy to a two way two year deal.

Vegas wins with Carrier, Koelesar, Hague and still signing tough guys. It isn't ironic they won the Cup too.

WHAT DID I COME HOME TO?!?!?

Cam Talbot, Trevor Lewis, Steve Santini, Andreas Englund, David Rittich, and Mikhail Maltsev??????

THIS IS WORSE THAN I IMAGINED

Maltsev might be the only that makes a contribution...Seriously though I expect the Kings to give up the "Farm" and get themselves a bonafide Goaltender and 3rd Pairing D-man with Size and Balls

I wouldn't worry about the power play, PLD is twice the player Vilardi is with the man advantage. The PK is going to be dicey.

I'd love if Fagemo can do what Kupari did and become a PKer/energy guy.

This board had it all wrong on Korpi.
Big loss.
We will see who Blake potentially stop gaps at the deadline.
And the long term #1 next summer.
Korpisalo is a quite the loss especially when Blake had to bring chopped "liver"...Talbot,Rittich?Long term answer is Portillo but not next summer that's for sure

Tbh I don't think the players we have is the PK issue (especially now with no Durzi or Edler). The system they use is awful

You're right. Vilardi didn't have as many points as I thought he did on the PP. Just seemed like he was that Holmstrom type guy. PLD did very well looking back at last year's stats.
