JAD will get a deal somewhere. Thought a couple of years ago he would push Lizotte out but he never did. Like the player but not someone I will lose sleep over if LA does not bring back.

Sorta like Amadio.

This is reasonable, but it's just another 'oh well' on a pile of 'well he trieds'.

Like at some point the thousand paper cuts add up.

This is just another case of a guy not getting a proper chance and his development getting all f***ed up but instead of moving him for an asset--even a lesser draft pick--you're letting a former 2nd round pick do f***all for several years then just letting him walk for free. If it were one in isolation? Sure. But this is faaaar from that.

Re the goaltending pipeline they didn't qualify Ingham either lmao. So that leaves Copley-Portillo as the only goalies in the org.

So does anyone still want to argue my point that we can't develop forwards, or is the excuse still going to be , it's because we didn't draft forwards in higher rounds to develop still being used?

Future looked so bright 3-4 years ago, it's a real shame the dev staff all got promoted instead of fired.

Mind boggling stupidity.

Bye JAD. Seems like yesterday he was going to be a stud 3rd liner. Another high-ish draft pick (2nd round) that had some ups and downs but ultimately didn't amount to anything in the organization.

I think they'll resign JAD, I don't know what his qualifying offer would've been, but if they believe they can get him cheaper then they will. He really doesn't have a lot of leverage.

Thank f*** they didn't qualify MacEwen, what a f***ing useless player he was.

Anaheim, Flames, Kraken, Oilers, and Knights ALL bullied the Kings this year.

Carrick ran Lizotte, Zadarov ran around every time we played Calgary and cross checked Byfield, no comment on the Oilers (they have bulled us two playoffs in a row - Nurse, Kane, Kassian, Kostin), Hague beat the crap out of McEwen and Dunn/Gourde/Olekisak all bullied the Kings.

His offer was very small, but he had arbitration rights. Scoring 7 goals is likely all he needed to note to receive a higher, unaffordable figure thru that acrimonious process.

He COULD re-sign here, but man, he would be foolish not to look for a better situation.

Imagine thinking a player with 96 NHL games is not getting a proper chance,

I like JAD, but he's a dime a dozen player in the NHL....he's like TJ Tynan.....great AHL player....doubtful NHL player

I was a bit surprised that they practically gave no one qualifying offers, especially all the goalies. I assume they are going to sign more than one going into the season.

Looks like JAD, MacEwen, Andersson, Dudas, Schnarr, Paquette-Bisson, Hrenak, Ingham, and Villalta were all told to pound sand.

I think it is just Bjornfot, Fagemo, Thomas, and Madden that received them.
