Now that I see Daccords name on the list, I am not surprised if he isn't the one they are targeting. Bluc, Stoll and Army were sighted at a few games during the Firebirds run. Its possible they were out here golfing at La Quinta CC with Foxy and The Nest was too packed for evening entertainment and they went to the game instead.

The one coaching I trust is our goalies. Other than Petersen, we've made a lot of goalies much better. Hopefully our 1.5 mil backup goalie is the next Budaj, Campbell, Scrivens, or Kuemper,

But yeah I'm also shitting my pants
when thinking about 23-24 i get indigestion.
you're fully committed.

raanta- injury history but a chance of getting hot
varlamov- consistently somewhat above average

brossoit- horribly inconsistent. his best steals a game from an average team
reimer- omg no. better hire the marlie's zamboni driver
talbot- old, tired confirmed problems winning (loser)

Optimistic thought:

They feel they can challenge for the division with Copley/X and this year's deadline add will be whichever goalie is hot and healthy (Korpi last year) before making the 'big move' next offseason.

It’s too bad we have zero cap space. Lots of solid vets being bought out who could be had for fairly cheap possibly to fill a couple spots on the bottom 6

Have we considered moving Trevor Moore? That would free up a decent amount of cap space and we have a few forwards that could slot in.

Fiala - PLD - Kempe
Byfield - Kopitar - Kaliyev
Turcotte - Danault - Arvidsson
Moore is our only good defensive winger left.

Little OT now but for those who have been discussing trading Kopitar and Doughty--thought this was interesting insight from Davidson re: chicago's rebuild without Toews and Kane and 'club legends' hampering natural growth and leadership:

That's quite a spin considering both legends he's moving on from are in the final years of their contracts and hitting career lows. And is Toews even healthy enough to play?

the chicago rebuild should be interesting in a couple years. lots of shit stirrers to protect the kids and they still have TONS of great picks in the next few years as backup plans or trade chips if things go ahead of schedule

i felt like the yotes did that a number of years ago when they had domi et al and it bombed but.. they're the yotes so..

Don't need that f***stick either.
We'll need a goon when Fiala gets ran at and we have to send out our oompa loompa to get his ass whooped in front of 20,000 people.

surprised to see yamamoto bought out too, thought the wings were gonna keep him with their cap situation

probably gets a contract somewhere on the cheap
